No surprise, just like the Celtics the Bucks don't act like school teenagers. How many freaking trade rumours has Masai been involved in since the deadline?

Teams will soon stop answering the phone, why bother. Masai and Bobby just talk and then leak trade rumours (Raptors do leak) and then walk away when it is time to close a deal.

They are the laughing stock of the league and GM's will just stop taking them seriously, again nice work Masai

Lmao I love when people talk about things they have no idea about.

For all we know the Raptors had an offer in a week ago and said that was the final offer and POR went a different route. Or maybe we were a front runner and POR gave dame the choice. Or we never really had any interest at all.

I do know teams aren’t gonna laugh at them for not overpaying

Smart of Giannis to calmly and politely mention to anyone who would listen that he was out of there if things didn't improve.

I thought it was a great trade for them. They didn't like Ayton. They needed bodies. They got 3 rotation players and a prospect.

This is why engaging in any trade rumour threads regarding the Raptors is a waste of time.

That’s my going theory. There is no way our package wasn’t better than this.

This is my theory as well. Blazers got offers from us and the Bucks they could live with. They asked Dame and it was an easy decision to go to the Bucks.

However, to play devil's advocate, this is why you sweeten the pot when you make a better offer. Like if we presented the overwhelming best offer, Blazers would've said to hell with Dame and would've shipped him here.

It was probably Cronin's way of trying to appease Dame, since he wasn't sending him to Miami. Unless Raps were offering something stupid, I doubt Cronin wouldn't have given Dame any choice.

Great for the Bucks. Got a clutch scorer instead of relying on Middleton in those moments. Giannis more likely staying now.

Shams' deleted tweet makes it seem Raps were close until someone pulled out? It said it was a four team trade instead of a three team trade as well. Didn't seem like a typo.

Agree this is by far the most pressing issue right now. We're not beating Milwaukee or Boston. Re-fk'n-build PLEASE

Underrated part of this deal. The Bucks will be awful by then. No way Masai could match this.

The best part of all this is we don't have to see the multiple roman numeral version of the "Giannis Trade Request" thread on here.

Yogurt and Nazz will have to deal with watching Barnes play for the Raptors

I'm not a big enough person to pass this up:

Grayson Allen and the 2029 1st rounder were in this trade.

You know how we could have clearly beat the Bucks offer?

By trading Fred for that at last year's deadline and put it in the Dame deal.

Sliding doors my friends... one of the worst trade deadlines we've ever had keeps on delivering.

I don't know he was never reported to be on the trading block

There were reported offers. They weren't meaningfully better than just signing Schroder.

My man, I have very bad news about every single other aspect of realGM.
