I wonder how much load management Dame will have during the year? I don't want to see Nick Nurse/Thibs still riding of him from AG (Bud and team did a great job of limiting regular season load.). I don't know how much strength and conditioning (Suki) will help with issues like his calf strain but want to make sure we limit the chances he gets injured seriously that would impact playoff performance

We're like the underdog version of the KD Warriors now.

Congrats on getting a player who's much more reroutable than Tyler Herro.

Funny seeing Herro retweet the Jimmy video. Is he oblivious that he almost ended up in Utah? Nevermind, don't answer that.

Holy ****. 4am here and no chance I'm going back to sleep now. This is amazing, sad to see Jrue go, especially after his Buck for life comments, but you do this trade 100 times out of 100.

Dame, Khris, Giannis, Brook with some really solid role players on the bench is incredible!

Special thanks to Jrue for upping his trade value in the 11th hour.

The lane is open for either Marjon or AJJ to start. You know what you're going to get from Beasley and Pat. Marjon can do things athletically that Beasley can't and has defensive tools that Pat doesn't. If AJJ shot 40-100 from 3, I think there's a chance Houston or Detroit would've taken him over Amen or Ausar Thompson. I would be very surprised if it happened, but the opportunity is certainly there for both of them.

Pretty incredible that Horst pulled this trade off! One of the best trades in Bucks history.

I love Jrue and I will always cherish his time here. The steal and the alley oop is framed on my wall. I’ll never forget what he gave to this franchise.

That being said, this deal is a no brainer. It likely keeps our once-in-lifetime franchise player happy, hopefully enabling an extension. It fixes our big offensive problem in the playoffs and moves us much closer to winning a championship. Assuming good health, we are in a better position than last year.

The tears from ESPN and people like SAS is unreal. Never seen a trade made and the first thing the guy says is he feels bad for the player. **** off ESPN

Why finalize a trade right after the season when instead you can string half the league along all summer, including 3 of your chief rivals, one in their pursuit (Miami), one in their inaction (Philly) and one who wouldn't make the big trade they did if they knew this was coming (Boston).

I would agree that MarJon & AJJ are the best contenders for that 5th starting job, and if neither can win it then it should to go Pat. They 5th spot needs to be capable of defending scoring wings and that's not Beasley. Giannis, Dams, Khris, Brook is plenty of scoring. Let Beas & Bobby score on the 2nd unit

Also very good move for the Bucks org to do right now. I would imagine their tickets line is blowing up right now. Right when the roster may have felt a little stale they make a move for a superstar and I believe they saved a little money in this exchange this year. Kudos to Wes and the guys. Enjoy the near term windfall.
