Congrats on the trade. You know you had to do it. For Giannis' sake.

Now the picks given can give a headache in a few years' time, but that's for another story.

You have improved an already very good team.

Greetings from Brazil.

Thank you sir. I work with a team based in Brazil quite a lot and I’m looking forward to getting a chance to go down there and visit. They are wonderful and very smart.

There is risk in this trade, but its in the pick and the swaps. In 2028-30 Giannis will be 33-35, Dame will be 38-40 and Midds will be 37-39. Its absolutely possible that the Bucks window has closed by that point and Portland will be right in the middle of there's. But this trade made them better next season without a doubt.

Right, but you have to give something up. If I'm Por I prefer the far out unprotected over two firsts in the next 3 years. And at least two of those even we are trash and give up a top 7 pick we're getting Portland's say 18th pick back or whatever it. Yea the absolute crap luck of handing over a #1-3 pick could happen 3 times, but you have to give something and at least in two of those years you're getting their first back if it happens.

Saw another recent post on tampering. I just don't understand how it's tampering for us to do it but not for MIA. Or the other like 20 similar 'trade demand' trades that have happened in recent years.

Absolutely. You can't trade for a superstar and not have some worry that the deal could bite you in the ass at some point.

Waking up and seeing notifications I thought I was dreaming. Didn’t seem real.

Full credit to Horst for figuring out a way to finally bring a super star to Milwaukee. A bummer to say goodbye to an incredible person in Jrue but at least it’s for a player with such high respect in Dame.

PTI led with the trade. Wilbon and Isola, lol. They sounded deflated and dejected. They both don't know how it will work out for the bucks and made it seem like they were taking a huge risk because holiday is an all star... Dame is a fukin top 75 player all time coming off an all star year lol

Wilbon also said phx got tougher with Grayson and nurkic. Lol

Someone's hurting that the Bulls aren't getting over on the Bucks in awhile.

If he was going to Chicago, they'd have been insufferable.

Game 3 is Heat at home.

Imagine the looks Dame is going to get playing with Giannis.

Imagine teams not being able to swarm Giannis hard because you have to pick up Dame at half court and it's probably wise to keep a 2nd defender near by.

Imagine Khris as a 3rd option.

This could be fun.

Imagine Khris as a 3rd option, not dribbling the ball off his own d***.

Fixed it for you

You're welcome!

Now you mean a sports team, or a business team or such?

Right now I'd say it's not a great idea to come down to Brazil... it's extremely hot here the past few days... I'm at home right now (7 pm) and the weather is at 43 degrees celsius (109 fahrenheit)... hottest **** I've ever seen in my whole life, lol.

Greetings!

And game 4 is against the favorites to get Dame in Toronto.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget coming back to work after being out on lunch, and the first tweet I see letting me know something was up was SH talking about the new Bucks core being Giannis, Dame, and AJ Green.

Uh no, I would guess Jrue has a lot more value at the moment around the league based solely on the injury situation with Middleton.

If Middleton comes back healthy and plays at 90% the old Middleton, we're golden. The past two years would say that might be problematic.

You're the real offseason acquisition Epi. This Lillard guy is the throw-in. 8-)

The good news there is Dame is much more equipped to carry an offense if necessary. Not to discount the intangibles Jrue gives you, but I do think we probably get by Boston two seasons ago with Dame in place of Jrue.

I don’t know how any of this works out but the process of it all has been outstanding by Horst. And I mean the entire offseason really.

- By credible sources we performed one of the most thorough, comprehensive coaching searches possible, to the point of impressing other NBA personnel.
- Got a superstar PG with what seemed like an extremely limited cupboard of assets.
- Were able to retain the both of our core players who were FAs
- Drafted/signed intriguing young guys (AJJ, Tyty, Moore, Livingston, Gortman)

Again this could all blow up and mean nothing but process-wise it’s hard not to be impressed with what Horst has done this summer.
