We lost the TP-MLE but have that $6M TPE. Some of the restrictions for second apron don't really kick in until next season.
Also, Hornets need to waive Hayward before the season starts.

Playoff rotation of:
PG: Holiday (35), White (13)
SG: Bullock (20), White (22), Brown (6)
SF: Brown (30), Hauser (18)
PF: Tatum (38), Horford (10)
C: Porzingis (32), Horford (16)
I feel like White might be super marginalized in the starting 5 and starting him with Jrue might create a rotation log jam where you need to play another PG type, and those guys can tend to be liabilities height wise. Bullock is still playing a minor role in the rotation here, but starting him allows you to go with another wing like Hauser here over a Pritchard type size liability.

That team is LOADED honestly.
Only weak spot on paper is backup guard as not sure if pritchard and walsh are worthy of top 8or9 spot.

Celtics will be looking for additional bigs as insurance policies for Al & Porzingis. Do you think Dwight Howard will be on their list?

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t some rules with TPE’s change? Is it just for claiming someone off waivers so Hayward wouldn’t fit in this case?

I don't like Bullock. A meh spot up shooter who doesn't do anything else well. He's a net negative.

Mind boggling to me that there is a universe where Reggie Bullock is a starting two guard for the Boston Celtics.

Absolutely. Brissett, Stevens, Mykhailiuk, and now Gabriel are all guys who played decent minutes and contributed for their previous teams, and are also generally well-regarded by those teams and the fan bases. I like all the signings and am surprised Brad landed them all and on friendly contracts (for the Celtics). In the past we would have gotten maybe one or two of them.
For a team that has 4 star-level contracts, attracting these free agents is crucial. Hearing some of the criticisms is perplexing, but when people see the results it will be a different story. The new players just need to be professional and go out on the court and deliver their specialty. That will be enough. By next year people will be clamoring to resign our bench players but we won;t bev able to keep them all. This summer has been exceptional.

We just added Porzingis (can be our 2nd scorer) and Jrue (primary playmaker/another scoring option). White's role should be elevated too.
