Can you imagine how Miami is feeling? They thought they were going to get Dame so they moved on from
Beal. Still can’t believe the Suns got Beal for scraps.

If I was gay, Beal would be my perfect partner. There’s just something about him that completely turns me on. The dark complexion is an add on for sure.

Vogel should dress up as Lasso for Halloween ... Visor, stache, and sunglasses. The facial features are pretty darn similar. He would just need a hairpiece.

It was the no trade clause. They literally couldn't trade him anywhere else. They had zero leverage. I always have said a team can ignore a player's wishes, but their only choice was to keep him, and they were ready to rebuild.

There are three guarantees in life. Death, taxes, and Kershaw choking in the playoffs. Dude has already allowed 6 runs in first and was pulled after one measly run. GO D-Backs BEAT LA!!!!

So Okogie starting tomorrow.

He's improved his 3pt % 4 years in a row that's probably what we're banking on.

Man I’m honestly fairly surprised. Maybe for now they want to keep it as similar to last year as possible? I have to say, with the talent on this team, I don’t even see Okogie cracking the regular rotation at all, let alone starting.

I’m so eager for these preseason games just to see all our new guys and really get a feel for everyone’s skill sets. I can only watch the same YouTube highlights on these guys so many times haha

lol have you ever seen CP3 run down the court this fast? If he starts pushing the tempo on offense and actually plays well for the warriors, I’m gonna be a little pissed

Okogie had that little run, but he returned to JAG status in the playoffs. I don't expect much to change.

Yeah, I was a big believer in Okogie but he disappointed me in the playoffs.

He is a great defender but his lack of size and his limitations on offense are for real. We will see if he can handle that starting spot.

Vogel said starting last season was part of the decision to start again today. I hope that changes quickly. I really don’t think Okogie is even a top 10 player on this team anymore. He’s way too big of a liability on offense. We saw how that went last year.

Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard has agreed on a four-year, $30 million contract extension, agents Austin Brown, Max Saidman and Mitch Nathan of @CAA_Basketball tell ESPN. Deal is fully guaranteed.

He’s our best most aggressive defender and you’d prefer our best defender comes off the bench? Suns have already lost Paul, Mikal, Crowder, Ayton, CamJ that’s a lot of defense in a single year to lose and we need to start Okogie even if his shot ain’t falling.

I'm okay with Okogie starting I'd have preferred Goodwin but was surprised most had KBD starting and wanting Beal to defend the best PGs.

Now we can have 2 elite perimeter defenders in Okogie and Goodwin play 40 minutes and if Nurkic and Eubanks protect the rim we're a solid chance of being a top 10 defense as is Vogel's trademark.

Our starters and main bench put 46 up in a quarter so doesn't seem like we'll need a traditional PG when our big 3 can attack their man in semi transition and Okogie is a great driver with Nurkic spacing.

I'm more confident about this team than I was yesterday.
