Apparently it was a knee collision and not an ankle issue.

"Sprained Ankle" is the default injury term they use for everything before getting actual details and x-rays

I'm going to try to stay positive and say it didn't look too bad? The ball of his ankle didn't hit the court. Hopeful for a mild strain.

The next 2 days, we pray for good and definitive news. And hope it doesn't linger....because this Barnes is a problem for teams.

Low ankle sprain, you can tell in the replay he's cutting across and achiuwa moves to set an off ball pick for Scottie with wife legs right in front of where Scottie is going to run, so Scottie plants centre/right but sees achiuwa and his brain says oh man I gotta get left of this guy or I'm running into him, his brain tries to make the decision to change direction as his foot is planting and his weight going straight and a tweak occurred.

I gotta say i thought I saw him come down weird in one of his full court left hand janky layups too. Could be a couple of these off balance landings (and he's a big boy) coming together. Need to get him with Lebron PED guys asap imo

The thing about game speed is that he's moving just a little bit faster and stronger with purpose

sometimes the ankle/foot feels fine shortly after a sprain then it balloons and stiffens the next day.

Foot injury is more worrisome than an ankle injury. I really hope it doesn't linger.
