Giannis had by some distance literally the worst net rating on the team (21 out of 21) in preseason too lol, despite pretty enough box score numbers. Love the guy but it just should not be this difficult for him to blend in. He said a bunch of good teammate stuff in his training camp interview but has yet to back it up. I’m sure he’ll figure it out soon enough, but again it really shouldn’t be this difficult.

Marjon looked good but it's not Beasley's minutes he should take.

I wonder if Dame is a strong enough player to tell Giannis he is playing out of control and terribly. If he could be someone that reins in Giannis mid game, that is an unforeseen value of Dame.

I certainly saw too much Connaughton in the first half.

Crowder shouldn't be playing more than Bobby. If the Bucks keep Crowder over Bobby that would be a huge mistake.

Agreed but I kinda like it. Have all season for them to gain chemistry together to make a lethal closing line up. For now, both guys comfort zone is being the guy on offense. Plus 48 minutes of having to deal with either Dame+Giannis, just Dame or just Giannis is hell to deal with defensively.

its actually a good strategy assuming the last third of the game it gets aborted

When have we ever had double digits during a (rare) Giannis pube game? We’re going to win so many regular season games due to the odds of Giannis and Dame both being off on the same night are so rare. We have all year to get them to learn how to be synergistic for closing lineups.

Where does Dame finish points wise tonight?

On a positive note, Dame is an absolute assassin. I cannot believe we have him lol.

He has the clout. Someone needs to be brutally honest with him.

I think that Griff likes Bobby and Brook against Embiid in one on one and is using them primarily for that in this game. I think in games where you can play Bobby and Brook together you will see Bobby taking those minutes.

I wondering if Bill Simmons is changing his mind on how much depth the Bucks have?

Giannis definitely needs another ball handler out there with him. Can't have him do it all.

Lillard surpassing Jrue's made FT's high of 8 with the Bucks in his first half is amazing. Finally someone else who can get to the line. Dame being a FT merchant from Giannis getting us to the bonus will give us an offensive floor we haven't had

Let’s get Giannis to agree to 8 minutes per game where he can just attack and take on 4 guys and probably still score at a decent rate and the other 42 we run offense entirely through Dame. Thanks I’ll hand up and listen
