As long as Spo and Herro are using this time to help fine tune Herro’s game, I am all for it. Same goes for the kids… let them learn on the court and through their own mistakes and footage.

If at the end of the season we are a lower seed… that just means we have a better position in the draft and get another crack at getting another JJJ type player, or improving our pick for a trade on or after draft night. As we saw this last playoffs, getting the top seed is not essential, although home court advantage is nice, but better draft position can help you get a good player like JJJ. The sweet spot is getting that higher pick and still making it to the finals like we did. You get to compete while also build through the draft.

If we are losing games as a means of experimenting and letting our players play in a sandbox to benefit their long term growth, while still turning on the switch for the playoffs and getting better draft position, why not!

I'm sure JJJ is the greatest player ever but ... nah. We're still working on Jimmy Butler's window. We need to win as much as possible. We can't expect the all the top seeds to fall apart in the playoffs again this year.

Take the 6th seed then… point still stands. Using the season as a sandbox while resting Jimmy while getting the 6th seed serves multiple purposes.

Tyler Herro with 101 points in his first 4 games of the season (25.25 average).

Highest for a Miami Heat player since Lebron James back in 2011-2012 averaged 33ppg over the first 4.

Love starting over Jovic is gonna look like pure foolishness by all-star break. At a minimum we need some active size out there at the big man spot

Any chance any of the filler guys shake loose and get waived? I could see us stunning Nico’s growth and getting PJ back. Or going after Batum.

You're welcome LeBron.

Tyler Herro is a TURD.
Bam is NOT elite but is getting better.
Fire Spoelstra!
Josh Heupel is coming for you.

Kinda nuts how the Clippers can just find extra FRPs in the couch cushions.

There is no reason to believe that a player that plays half speed all season will be able to magically turn it on in the playoffs.

After watching these few games, I am not concerned about the talent. My concern is will Spo figure out how to use this team. This team has scorers but Spo has to figure out how to properly use them in Herro, Bam, Butler, Jovic and Jaquaz. This team has shooters in Love and Duncan and they are playing their roles well right now. Love is shooting 40% from three and Duncan is shooting 39% and 46% overall. Bryant is looking like the best backup center this team has had behind Bam. Spo has to figure it out.

The rich get richer!!

“See I told you the Heat wouldn’t trade for Harden”

Congrats, you were right and your team missed out on another opportunity to fill a MASSIVE need. Great job!

Just remember, it’s only frowned upon to have a preferred destination and be traded to that destination if it’s the Heat.

Honestly I don't think its real major injuries. It appears any nick a player has Spo sits them out to get a look at new lineups and give inexperienced players minutes. Its a risky thing but it consistently what Spo does in the first half of the season

Need Bulkvic at the 4 next to Bam. More length, more speed, more rebounds, more ball movement. He should increase the Heats pace by default

Is Jimmy Butler playing in Jimmy Butler’s window? Also, when is his window? March - June?
