Was very down on this season a week ago but this trade gave me new life

If everyone buys in to Nurse's system, Embiid plays how I know he can play come playoff time, and Maxey's star/superstar emergence, I honestly think we can beat Mikwaukee and Boston and possibly come out the east

Even though Batum, Covington and Mook aren't the defenders they were, we now have 4 (Oubre) wing players to potentially rotate and throw at Tatum and Brown and give them problems. Add an athletic dunker like Martin that I have been yearning for years for and I think we really have a better shot this year than last

I have given Morey **** but on this board but he did a great job here :nod:

Likely the 2026 pick will be the OKCs own pick. Likely to be a low 20 pick. However, there seem to be no protections in terms of top 3,top 10 nor top 20. However, I think giving the two seconds makes up for the uncertainty there.

Great trade by Morey again considering they could've let Harden walk for nothing and still been a top seed in the conference.

I guess there's a chance they make a move around the deadline, but I think it's most likely this was always going to be a partial pause year. Still be good enough to compete and maybe surprise, but make moves in the summer. Whether it's trading for a star or taking on contracts for more picks so you can eventually throw a massive haul of picks for a star.

If they helped get this done now, when it didn't seem like the Clips were going to add another pick for a month or two, I'm happy to get it done and Daryl should be too. I would not be surprised if Silver had a hand in avoiding the Harden BS from getting more embarrassing to the league as well.

The only true difference making move I see on the horizon is an OG trade. I’m perfectly comfortable with how we match up against Milwaukee but we need OG to have a chance against Boston.

If we get an elite wing to guard Tatum, I think we have a shot at winning the East. The big, eternal if is what version of Embiid shows up in the playoffs.

I’m good with this team for the season as is honestly. This team is going to be a lot of fun to watch after a long slog of unlikeable losers.

Barnes was never an option , first Masai would not trade Barnes for KD, so I am sure he would not trade him for a fat and overhill Harden on an expiring contract.
