I liked Rasul a lot. His gw pick @Ari (with the wave goodbye) was one of my favorite Packers moments in recent years.

But I'm not surprised he was moved with all of his talk about not wanting to be a loser.

Packers will now have a top 5ish 1st round pick plus

2 2s
2 3s
2 4s

Next year's draft will be fun

I’m always down for picks and a fun draft time, but I’ve soured a little on Gutes drafts of late. He hasn’t been terrible by any stretch and is a decent GM, just have to hope he can find some difference makers now.

Suggest you take another look at his draft history. It's looking worse by the day.

My enthusiasm is curbed with Gutey making the picks but he doesn't muck them all up I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Oh, I've looked. I just brought up the 21' draft class the other day and how hilariously bad it is. But the draft is impossible to master and he has made some good picks like Jaire, Elgton, Rashan, and now we have a crop of promising young players. But yeah, that's why I'm kinda worried about Gute making the picks. That 3rd round is Gutes Achilles heel.

Also keep in mind with the comp picks they are moving up roughly 60 picks with this deal, and will have five in the top 90. Im down.

Looking at our draft history and you have to go back to Morgan Burnett in 2010 for what I would consider a good pick in the third. Yikes

Don't be negative, maybe we draft the next Amari, Deguara or Jace Sternberger.

Trade all the 3rds for a second.

2018 - Oren Burks
2019 - Jace Sternberger
2020 - Josiah Degura
2021 - Amari Rodgers
2022 - Sean Rhyan
2023 - Tucker Kraft

How in the world is anyone still dumb enough to think Gutenkist won’t **** up another 3rd round pick? 7th times a charm I guess? Get real.

All these picks are great but it shouldn’t be Guty making the selections.

The first 5 listed are rough but I'm not ready to write off Kraft yet. TEs typically take a few years to develop . But yea not a great track record, hopefully they use those 2 3rds to move up into the 2nd
