If Nets- Bulls game was in season tournament game, why it impacted record? Same with Warriors- OKC game? Wtf is going on ?

It looks like Maxey has another gear in him. What a start of a season.

Him Barnes and Chet are really having a good seasom so far.

We will see later on if they can maintain it. I remember a few years back our trio of Vuc AG and Evan also had those amazing stats 10games into the season.

I've been pretty dismissive of Scottie Barnes but just had a quick look at his numbers this year...wow! Is he really that good?

I saw him as overhyped role player/glue guy...not an All-Star and certainly not a PG...now he's putting up pts and shooting 3's too?

He's been legit great this year... many people around draft time were arguing that he would be worse than Draymond offensively

you can add me to that list  .

I still throw up a little in my mouth when I hear the "Magic Johnson" stuff...they ARE the same height, but Scottie's no PG.

Having said that, he's apparently a heckuva player. So is Pascal. So is OG. So is Poeltl...why does TOR suck?

Now it's Magic fans' turn to say it's good stats on a bad team.

Many said Barnes had the highest upside in that draft, I was excited for the Magic to have a chance of drafting him, though scared too, Toronto obviously didn't let that happen, and i am plenty happy with Suggs/Wagner. Tall guys that can defend and pass are cheat codes in the NBA...hence the appeal of Black....

Now I am pretty surprised at as Barnes early season three point volume and success after last years awfulness ...he was pretty good to start his rookie year from 3 too, but this year he has his FT% tracking too....if Barnes is indeed a 39% 3pt shooter on volume, he's going not going to just be an all star, but probably all-nba before too long...It's the argument for drafting things like size, IQ, feel...over shooting.

scorer on a bad team doesn't apply to Barnes..first of all Toronto's not that bad...not great, but they are of the pack team in the East unless they move OG and/or Siakam...maybe better than that if they could upgrade their guards. 61%TS is not inefficient. look to one of the many scoring guards around the league on bad teams...Jalen Green...tbh there's just not many bad teams this year with guys hogging usage.

Im impressed by his start BUT I am waiting for him to regress to the mean. I mean, we all saw it with out own Vuc-Evan-AG trio a few years back right? We were shooting lights out and we got that I think 10-2 record????? Everyone was thinking playoffs already when the rest of the league knew we couldnt keep up that hot shooting.

Amazing game today after a horrid start from him... I don't know about first option capabilities but he's been crazy effective so far

I tried to tell y'all about Scottie.

I'm just glad the Magic weren't in position to take him and passed on him.

People want shooting so badly here that it skews their opinion on so many prospects

We don't have any reliable shooters to surround Barnes, our bench is weak, and Dennis should be a sixth man (although he's doing a heck of a job as a starting PG for us) We lack a starting PG that could also be a threat on offense.
