Seriously, the Celtics mostly played the right way tonight. There was some dumb moments, but the ball flew around, too much IMO.
The Sixers collapsed on Tatum any time he put the ball down, which led to a million open threes, which we didn’t hit enough. Tatum also should have more aggressively looked for his shot. Sometimes, playing “right” is not always make the outlet pass.

True.
It wasn't obvious when he was in his 4th or 5th year, but since he became the legit 2nd option, he really got exposed.
The guy still makes rookie mistakes in his 8th year in the league.
If he's not making shots, he's an absolute liability.
Eh I think he’s been worse than ever since last years ECF.
Mentally it definitely feels like he’s hearing the criticism.

Jaylen Brown is hard to watch and I don’t think he’s a good fit. Over the last two I’m disappointed Tatum didn’t find a way to stay involved offensively. It’s not going to end well if he’s still able to be removed from
The equation.
Also just so much standing around. One, two passes and that’s your offensive possession. Same thing we’ve seen, can’t really break down good defenses consistently

Yeah, the Celtics will have to learn that the hard way.
That's why I said the best chance to win in 2025.
The Cs are good enough now, but they have to figure it out.
Right now the pecking order is not yet defined.
They've been together for long enough to figure it out.

Agreed. That said, I am going to enjoy his final season as a Celtic.
Yeah, only thing that can save JB is the Cs win a chip this season.
If not, there's really a big chance he'll be shipped out.

Joe and the bench not good enough. This kind of talent running nothing is crazy.

They're not winning a Championship with Mazzulla.
He's their weakest link.
Second weakest link is Brown.
Third is the Bench.
Can't really make the necessary changes until after the season.

Still, those two missed dunks by Porzingis were inexcusable. He made 2 Free Throws on 1 of them, but an extra dunk and an And 1 would have sent this into overtime.
The Celtics are the better team. They just didn't shoot well.
Pritch's play this season has been disappointing.
He should've made the dunk but I would go through about 8 guys before I put the blame for tonight's loss on Porzingis.

Their best player carried, ours played bad.
Their second best player was awesome, ours was abysmal for 45 mins.
You’ll lose a game like that against a good team 99/100 times.
I’m not as worried as the Wolves game. We’ve got a long ways to go for this team to play as good as they can but I think they’ll get there

Well at least we can stop pretending this team is some juggernaut or special in any way. They are a really good team playing for a title like alot of other really good teams.

Nurse is such an upgrade over Rivers. Sadly Joe is still a simpleton. Same old Problems as before. EXCEPT Al is even older and more useless than ever on offense. Just jacks up 3s. But the idea that JB, who has never consistently played winning BB may become untradable once his 60 million per kicks in is some of the most depressing things going forward.
And for the "its only November" crowd. Yes it is.. But the issues are timeless.
Can't wait to play a weaker team so Brown can kill it and fool some green teamers again.

2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Do we really need Pritchard to play 25 games to prove that he sucks?

That would've been true if the Cs kept Smart and Rob.
But there are 2 new key pieces in Jrue and KP.
Both those guys are legit 2nd options with their former teams.
Right now the Jays are 1 and 2.
JT is the legit #1, but the #2 is still up for grabs even if JB owns it by default.

Wow. So the lady ref, who was looking directly at the play, turned a blind eye. There was still about 3 or 4 seconds left. The Celtics could have gotten another shot.

I'm excited to see how many consecutive minutes he can play without scoring. He's at 55 and counting.

Whether he sucks or not, Cs are stuck with him after they traded Smart and Brogs.
Guess you'll have to live with the suck!
