All the negative nancies on here tonight, the Bucks are falling over the line against the Detroit Pistons at home.
It’s almost like new starting fives take time to gel…

Not really the same because as someone else pointed out, Giannis got tossed from that game.

Joe puts a career 37% 3 point shooter (Jrue) in on the last play when a career 42% 3 point shooter rides the pine.I can't any more with Joe. What did/does he have on Brad, is my question.
Go easy on Joe, he was busy catching up on Gary Wash's greatest columns from '16!

Not to mention they still won.

Fair point. Philly actually looks better right now than the Celtics or the Bucks.

Holy crap. They did, didn't they? I was so sure they were gonna lose being down 10 midway in the 4th. Too bad we couldn't do the same, although we were trying to do it against Philly vs. doing it against Detroit.

Tatum never asserts himself offensively. I didn’t know what he was doing trying to catch that ball, did he not know the play? Was the play not for KP? I have no idea.
I love Tatum and he’s better this year but I can’t recall a single time in his career he really demanded the ball or even said please to get it.
He's trying to be selfless.
Unlike Kobe, JT doesn't have a strong personality.
Time will come when the pecking order will be defined.
Hopefully it's sooner than later.
If Jayson Tatum and the team don’t recognize him as someone who needs the ball more than not that’s a problem in of itself. That shouldn’t even be a question.
You have to understand that JB still thinks it's 1a and 1b.
JB still thinks he and JT are equals.
What JB needs to realize is things have changed and he's just #2 or #3 now.
Just like that Minny game where instead of getting the ball to JT, JB wanted the last shot and ended up missing the potential game winning 3.
This is still an adjustment period for everybody.

I thought that for most of the game they just played harder than us. This is a game that called for the grit and hustle of guys like Stevens and Brissett. Besides that, when PP continues to struggle with his shot, he's not bringing much else to the table. I think with Banton's length, he might be able to bother guys more than PP. At least give him a try when PP can't throw it in the water from the shore. Joe's rigidity with his lineups will cost us some games.

One of these days I expect Joe to scream at Gary "It puts the lotion on its **** hands!"

We could legit call some kid up from Maine and he might be better than Pritchard right now.
But yes Svi should play over him

Jaylen against 4 different good defenses has been a trainwreck twice and had a good game twice.
That's not good enough

On the positive side:
Maybe they're tanking early so that Joe gets fired before the playoffs, when it really counts.

nah, the positive so far IMO is that they seem like they can shut teams down in crunch time when they need to (not ant late). we just need to come alive quicker so it doesn't have to be do or die in the crunch. In all our close games we had moments of completely shutting those teams down in crunch time. the only time we didn't sustain it was when Ant cooked us like a steak for a king in OT. MAYBE it's a good sign of what we can do in the playoffs where every moment is crunch-like.

Are you saying we aren’t going to go 82-0?
Yep.
Definitely blow it up. It’s time.
Trade Tatum and get the best package.

Brother you have probably the most talented roster in the league. Close games against other good teams is not a benchmark
Celtics are in trouble with this coach. He's turning a blind eye towards the team's ineptitude and instead is always about the "silver lining". If the coach can't acknowledge the team's shortcomings, we can't expect the players to do the same.
I'm tired of his attitude in press conferences. This guy thinks he's bill belichick. Buddy, you're losing games. Show some humility.
