Again, team has quit on the coach. Culture is really bad. Nothing will change until massive sweeping changes are made

Although I think most of it is Cliffs preference of shutting the paint down over 3pt defense. It doesn't work when every team bombs 3's.
More about pace IMO, he slowed the game down and took teams out of their rhythm. We're now one of the fastest paced teams in the league.

Who do you guys want with our top 5 pick?
Good luck having faith in this team. Clifford can't even get these guys to play defense and that's his strength as a HC. We are done.

Nice half court alley oop there...but yeah our offense just looks so damn stagnant.

But every team in todays league plays fast. Only 4 teams are below 100, including the Knicks. And they're at 98.
And even the Jefferson/Kemba teams were middle of the league in pace, not at the bottom.
2013-2014 - 97 pace (18th)
2014- 95 pace (22)
2015 98 pace (18th)
2016 98 pace (18th)
2017 100 pace (10th)

B Diddy!
I started watching Hornets basketball during the Baron Davis and Jamal Mashburn era. Such a shame they moved the franchise to New Orleans.

Interesting, I thought our pace was way below league average.

Miller is quickly becoming my favorite, proving me wrong. We can't ruin this kid like the others, though. Get a real coach and roster in here please

How useless was PJ Washington in that half...

He sure is showing why he didn't get his 20 millions a year
Honestly we need to start thinking of him as a Dario Saric level player. A solid bench piece in certain matchups. We need an upgrade there for sure. The inconsistency is just too much to be a starter in the NBA today. He'd make a good expansion player for Vegas or Seattle

I'm losing hope on LaMelo. He's still young, only 22, but he's not impacting winning like he did 2 years ago. He's got to step up and be a leader, be accountable, and take better shots.

PJ is really inconsistent. He's either really good or really bad.
He scored 32 against Miami. In the game before and the game after, he scored 3 and 4 points.
Not always that extreme, but it's always up and down to some degree.

He's on pace for 28/10/6 tonight and is 50%/40% from the floor. He's doing his job.
The problem is 6 points from every other non-Brandon-Miller starter. That is incredibly bad.

He's the only player we have, besides maybe Miles, who can be a top 3 scorer on a top team.
It's more of an issue of the team not building around him properly. It's basically Kemba 2.0.

Good news at the half: Brunson is now only on pace for 52 points tonight

I get that, but he still takes bad shots. He could be so much better if he took his time and found his spots on the floor like Brandon Miller already does. I don't care about his defense becuase we need Steph Curry like play out of him offensively and the other starters can cover him defensively, they just don't becuase we have the wrong players around him

PJ has been the problem since Miles returned.

This is just PJ. He's like the homeless AD.
Dude disappears for a week, then pops a random purple patch, then disappears again
