It's Thanksgiving - A time to give thanks for what you have. We are all presumably fans of a team that has been to SIX of the last nine NBA Finals and has won FOUR rings in that span. What in the bloody hell more do you people want? You want the coach and front office fired - While failing to suggest replacements. You want core players traded away for magic beans. Your ridiculous expectation is that the team win it all every season. Seriously, calm the eff down and trust in one of the most successful teams in NBA history - Not the couch jockies who've never played the game beyond grade school and have no better advice than to burn it all down.
We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Romania.
Also, i am very calm, thank you. What do we want? Meritocracy, adjustments. Past titles don't win new ones.
And from your tone, i think you need to listen to your own advice and YOU calm the fukc down.
Cheers.

I believe they won a title like what two seasons ago? Reminds me of how people are here in Pittsburgh want Mike Tomlin fired and he's never had a losing season, even the hoody has had losing seasons.
Sorry, I forgot the sarcasm tag. If I went by RealGM I would believe that the only reason they won titles was that they had talent and other teams were always injured. Kerr had nothing to do with it, anyone could have coached them, he was just in the right place at he right time. That's the takeaway I get from this thread and this forum in general. It's entertaining, at least.
Now you're starting to get it.

Oh shut up. This tired defence is lame.
So because we won titles over the last decade we should sit back and accept a decade of losing?

Re: Warriors biggest problem? Their Coach
My POVs on coaching that has failed this team:
1. Our over reliance on the strength of 2 players, one of them is brilliant-Steph, the other one is well..Klay. The need to feed Klay shots is failing this team. I see it even with the Bench guys, this causes so much stagnation and confusion especially with them.
2. Not maximizing each player's strength and coaching on weaknesses. I have noticed that when none of the major players are playing with the Bench, the bench players are aggressive, they are free, they are not overthinking. Simply they getting it done how they know they can. I am not a basketball genius but I have noted, MM was quite good defending Booker and Shai, but guess what they don't use him. JK has a bit of a Mid-range game to him, not used enough. You can't play Saric as lone big. CP mid range game is not being maximized.
3. The team need to figure out how to maximise youth with the Vet.
My 2cents!

What are you going on about? This isn't the Knicks board. You haven't tasted a "decade of losing." Less than 18 months ago, the Dubs were crowned NBA Champs.

^ But he didn't say that. Honestly, do you have a reading comprehension problem?
Can't you understand what's said in a literal way, and what's a figure of speech?

It’s an overreaction to say that the Warriors current rough patch is going to lead to a decade of losing. Everyone needs to relax

Re: Warriors biggest problem? Their Coach
The only reason I give them more time is due to lack of continuity among the starters.
Dray missed some camp and hadn't played in half the games.
Wiggins missed some camp and is getting into basketball shape and his timing back.
Cp3 is new and needs to get adjusted to.
Klay is aging quickly and needs to adjust his game and the starting unit to him.
Loon is getting pulled in and out of the line up.
This group hasn't exactly played much together all.

Its a valid point, but I dont see it making enough of a difference to justify continuing it. A big shakeup is needed.. and since trades are likely out of the question - Klay due to loyalty, Moody/Kuminga due to salary, CP3 due to him not at all being a problem - the only thing that can really shake things up is a lineup change. And I'd imagine the majority of the board, and from what I've seen W's fans in general, are all looking at the same person

Defensively, dray will help alot. Wiggs misses him badly out there, they have this telepathic communication where the know where to go and be. Which might be able to cover klay.
Offensively, wiggs for all the crap he gets he is still our best interior scorer. I think dray helps him there as well. Cuts, interior passing, and more transition buckets.
If dray and wiggs up their game, the klay damage is minimalized.
Ws fans are looking to bench klay or trade wiggins, those 2 are taking all the heat for the teams poor play this year. And it's deserved.

Re: Warriors biggest problem? Their Coach
Do you believe mist good teams have players improving year after year. I don' t see it in GSW. Either the coach snd players donot care enough or they just cannot as they are over the hill or out of talent, that is, maxed out. Denver have so many players who improved in last 2 years. Lakers same, Cleveland just this year. Steph and rookies are the only ones who seem come back every year with a improvement in thier games.
Wasting steph prime is criminal. 2 years.sadly , first year of steph returning with not much improvents in his game. Hopefully it is the focus on golf and not his age showing up.

Re: Warriors biggest problem? Their Coach
1. Kerr and Klay are playing for 10 years together and won 4 chips. Kerr won't bench Klay or limit his minutes in contract year. More likely they both will die on this hill and will drag the whole team down.
2. Kerr didn't develop any young player in 10 years. Its all about veterans and rookies are for pluging veterans holes. Kuminga standing in the corner on every possesion is epitome of how Kerr value youngsters
3. Small ball with old 3 guards and Wiggs at PF....Fetish?...b/c of veterans?...b/c of offence?.... drtg is 131.2 in 105min

I sense some of the strongest defenders are paid by team to shape sentiments. I saw the same thing on the mavs board. We have send people breaking down warrior wins / gloating over wins but never teams weakness or losses.

Wait, what? Posters are paid by the team? Where do I sign up?
