I’ve been seeing prime Gordon Hayward comparisons for JJJ and I can somewhat see it. That would be amazing if so, I have some hot takes on a couple players on this team but I’ll keep to myself for now.

I’ll tell you one thing that isn’t a hot take, even I may have been selling Bam short. I was thinking 25-12-4 with the best defense in the world as his peak. That’s clearly a top 10 player.

Now I’m thinking 28 PPG in 3 years is doable at his peak depending on role. He’s at 23 now but as he continues to figure it out his efficiency is going to increase, that alone will be a solid 2 points a game bump. Then when they finally decide to make the 3 ball a part of his game that should help as well and he will be a Bosh level shooter. His touch is too good and form is good for jump shots.

28-12-5 and the best defender in the world.

28 might be a stretch, but 25/12/5 would still far surpass any expectations I’ve ever had for Edrice. He’s showing out this season, and it’s great to see.

Hayward is a decent comp for Jaquez. I’d say Jaquez will be a better defender, and Hayward the better distance shooter.

25-28....I think it has less to do with Bam, and more to do with how the offense is going to run going into the future.

I think Bam right now is about 80% of what he’ll be an it’ll be pretty minor tweaks to get him where he needs to be. Time will tell

I feel bad for everyone involved. It's the children who suffer at the end. No idea why the marriage ended, they did seems happy. If im not mistaken didnt one of his kids have cancer, which thankfully is in remission now.

A lot of times its better for the kids because the parents should stop fighting and focus on their kids.

my sister is divored amicably and she still fights with the ex from time to time and because of that they (the kids) are taking anti depressants

i only advocate divorce when there's physical/emotional abuse. btw, it is painful process for the divorcees as well

If we can get him without giving up too much, that's a win.

While DFS's current 44% shooting from 3-point range is impressive, it's important to consider his career average of 36%, which suggests he's an average shooter overall. We shouldn't expect him to maintain such a high percentage consistently. In terms of offense, DFS does have an edge, particularly with his scoring ability.

However, when it comes to defense, HH clearly outshines DFS, in terms of deflections, steals, and blocks. This defensive prowess is crucial, especially considering the team's dynamics when Herro returns.

Furthermore, the financial aspect is significant. DFS is on a 14m/15m/15m deal, whereas HH is currently on a much more budget-friendly 2m deal and would probably be resigned for a cheaper deal, leaving room for another signing. 6’4” and 210lbs. Could be an option if we need to replace Dru on the cheap. Maybe we’re holding out til we can sign 10 days?
