Lol. Pathetic. If any other team besides the Lakers or Celtics won this and hung a banner it’d be a laughingstock moment. But guess what…it’s still a laughing stock moment.

I will immediately be petitioning the Kings to hang their two summer league champions banners.

Also, rings. Rings for everyone. Summer league. IST. All star game. NBA championship. Rico Hines has summer runs…gonna need some rings for that too. Errr…sorry, forgot about the rookie/sophomore and celebrity games all star weekend, they all need rings and a parade too.

Damn…forgive me, I forgot about Jr. NBA events, those kids will need banners, rings and parades through downtown too.

Oprah voice - and you get a banner, and you get a ring, and you get a parade…

I’m fine with it. The NBA pushed it, I thought it sounded stupid before the season started. Then I started watching when it started and my interest got piqued. I think it has a bright future.

That's not true.

1 is handed out for 30 teams each year. Should get one every 30 years on average.

6 division banners handed out for 30 teams each year. Should get one every 5 years on average.

Should a banner be unveiled?
