I think Silver fears Green because he has the platform to go scorched Earth on the league and in this day and age depending who you are and your message you can get enough followers and stans for your message that it becomes hard to ignore them. Remember the “owners” comment about the league that Green made? That’s probably nothing compared to what would happen if the league makes him mad or goes after him. If this were Stern, Draymond would’ve stopped this behavior or been out of the league cause he had zero tolerance for this. Well let's be real here.

Draymond is a bully and bullies know who they can bully.

I specifically watched Warriors Pistons games for a Draymond Beef Stew matchup and though they push and shove Draymond doesn't try that with Stewart.

Bullies don't try things with guys they feel will actually 'go" with them.

Then you have the unsuspecting guys who will fight you. Draymond tried that mess with LeBron in the Finals and was stunned LeBron stepped towards him. A few other guys as well.

The issue is there aren't many physical players or goons in the League that are protective of their players. At some point the way to combat this is for the players to police themselves to a point as there is only so much the refs giving techs and ejecting or the League fining players can do.

And that's the truth. The problem is he's starting to become more trouble than he's worth to the Warriors as they are competitive but continue to lose whether he's playing or not.
