PG: Bucks Ground Rockets

I was switching between Bucks and NFL game.

1.) Can someone tell me what happened when Giannis was bleeding? I saw him called for a foul then turned around and his arm was bleeding pretty heavily.

2.) Does anyone have video of what Brooks did? I missed it.

1. Nothing burger. Bad call on the foul. He got scratched by a finger nail.

2. Also nothing burger. Brooks kind of flopped out of bounds and yelled at ref who was right on top of the play. Got a T. Argued more, got a second. Game was already over. Shrug.

Was wondering why Dame got 4 FTs. So T for flopping, T for arguing, then two technicals on the coach?

In Dre and Dairy Bird we've actually brought in some young guys with NBA skills. Marjon too, hopefully we can see an uptick in his play soon.

I think one of the young 3 is getting traded by the deadline. It's nice that we have some valuable young assets. Even if they are only valuable to the Bucks.

My fear is Horst will trade Dairy. My preference would be to trade Marjon. I don't think the Bucks are dumb enough to trade Dre.

Very good win. 2nd night of a B2B against a good Rockets team that was on a 5 game win streak, including wins over Denver/OKC. Not much to complain about here.

Tonight I couldn't help but wonder what Marjon must be feeling. Known confidence issues and a second round pick rookie is far exceeding his own second year expectations.

I think one in the coach and one for not leaving the court in an expeditious manner or something

Dre is such a good fit on both ends. His playmaking without using up any clock is such a bonus on top of all the other stuff he does.

Once AJJ earns the refs respect and picks up on some of the minor things of playing NBA defense, he will be awesome for us

If Horst trades Dairy, I think he gets something reasonable back. An underrated aspect of Horst is that he doesn't seem to flat out lose trades., it's more that the moves sometimes don't work out. Marjon would be the one to move, agreed.

As for your comment about Brooks, he'd fill that Pat Bev role of agitator, albeit being younger and more skilled.

First time we've had a rookie who you can feel impact the game consistently since Giannis. Maybe not a future MVP, but maybe a future Finals MVP.

I worried about how he would fit with Jrue because I was worried about our offense, but as soon as we traded for Dame I figured it would be a good match.

Glad he is finally getting playing time. Hopefully he plays more going forward.

I'm on the Dre bandwagon. Beas has been good to us but a bench role may be more suited to his talents. Dre's glue guy abilities mesh a lot better with Brook/Dame/Giannis/Midds. And he doesn't die on screens. We look so much better defending the PnR with Dre chasing the ball handler.
