If SGA can beat the Nuggets again, he’s the guy. With Jokic heating up though, he can easily re-take his throne. Exciting!

I'd take SGA over Jokic at this point if we're being honest. He's leading a worse roster to essentially the same record, while having already beat the Nuggets in Denver a few weeks ago. If Jokic and the Nuggets win convincingly tomorrow and Jokic has a massive game, maybe that goes back to even. But Embiid is still #1 right now, unless he keeps missing a lot of games.

You think the Nuggets have a better roster? I strongly disagree. OKC has the deepest roster in the NBA, and I don't think it's that close to be honest. If you would put Jokic instead of SGA on that roster, I truly think they are world beaters. Yes, they are young, but they are so versatile and talented, much more talented than the Nuggets roster.

Scaring thing is that OKC has some of the best assets to get even better. Besides young talents, they have at least 9, or up to 15, first round picks, and 22 second round picks. They are in a strong position to land OG or Laurie to finalize the roster.

Imagine that Doncic can use this kind of jumpshot if the situation is calling for it.

still do not understand why i m too stupid to embed a simple youtube vid... i do not know what i m doing wrong : /

I don’t get it-

What did Luka do there that he as MVP worthy?

You know - better than the almighty Jokic - the best currently Embiid or the best over time Giannis?

Just confused at the randomness of posting Luka making a J? Dude makes 10-20 of these a night on step backs over defenders trying their hardest and praying to god that he misses and you posted a uncontested warmup J

Make that make sense bro

Probably showing his new form on the jump shot aka the elevation on it.

Not necessarily his new form. More like another way of shooting if need be. His normal shot from the 3-pts-line is with much less elevation. He made one of those shots in the christmas game. Running fullspeed from the baseline to the top of the key around a screen getting the ball and doing a catch and shoot with aformentioned elevation. Haven t seen that from him before...

*edit

oh and he does NOT do 10-20 of these a night on step backs...come on man...if you play ball yourself you should be able to see the stark difference.

I just don’t get it - that shot is just a normal shot. These guys are so good they can emulate any form they want during warm ups. Gil Areanas basically would bet people he could beat them shooting left handed. This is normal- Luka is a nba player - Jumpers are like breathing for him

I agree. This looks pretty normal for professional players. It's just so natural to them.

Like how Jokić randomly made a three in practice using his left hand.

Doc Rivers said it best: "Embiid is (by far) the best scorer, Jokic is the best player"

Sixers look pretty comfortable without the guy who's apparently #1 in the MVP race.

This is a real question imo. They will want to rest him a bit before the playoffs. They can likely keep him within range as long as he doesn’t suffer a legit injury.

Shai in the lead right now I think. He just put up 40 in a blowout win in Denver. Beat the Nuggets 2x already on their home floor, and Embiid is sitting out games right now.

Honestly with guys like SGA, Joker, Embiid and perhaps Wembanyama in the future, he might not ever win one.

If Thunder go from 10th seed to #1 in the West, just give SGA the regular season MVP. He'll have earned it.
