On the bright side we improved our defense against them by 23 points compared to last year.

SGA continues to move up the MVP ranks. Another road loss to one of these young, up and coming teams. The changing of the guard in this league is upon us. I just hope we can sneak in a title or two before it arrives

Its good for Tatum to lose to a younger star who is quickly becoming higher profile than he is. He needs something to kick him into taking the next step of leadership of the team.

I guess you didn't watch the 3rd quarter.

But truth is I don't trust Joe in a close playoff series deep in the playoffs.

Sorry.. Not sorry.

I don't either but like...this is the game you pick? Lmao like come on man common sense here

He doesn't bench Jrue when he did, this team loses by 25 tonight

That was a sign of "Accountability" I have been screaming for. Problem is it's Tatum and Brown who get away with murder..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

I was already way into the hype. And he lays a goose egg. Way to have my back, bro.

I’ve said it 30 times. At any given time, White is our second best player and our first is a three-seat game of musical chairs on any given night. But D White always brings it, no off nights.

Jrue and Brown did not show up tonight. It felt like Jrue was playing through an illness or something. Anyway I can't figure out why Mazzulla didn't adjust when whoever KP was guarding kept making threes.
Edit: Extend Mazzulla

You know we're tied for the most wins on the road in the entire league, right?

White should have started the 4th. Mazzulla needs to adjust his rotations when guys are hot/cold. Brown/Jrue to start the 4th was a disaster. In the end, it was a good comeback but couldn't make the necessary stops. OKS made the big shots shots but the defense was too loose down the stretch.

Without sleep, they probably make it in time for our matchup against the Lakers on February 1.

I thought holiday had turned the corner but this was a really poor game from him. He’s not playing up to his ability. Brown was playing better but you cant go 4-17 and not try and change it up. He forced wsy too many shots

Firstly, OKC are really good, may be scary good in a year or two, the Clippers have basically gifted them a potential dynasty. Shai, J-Dub and Chet may well be a better big 3 than KD, Harden and Russ.

Defence was absolutely awful in this one until late. Holiday looked lost on both ends. Tatum on SGA really changed things.

Brown was awful. Tatum got going a bit late but he simply didn’t assert his authority on a game like an MVP level player should. SGA did in the third and it won them the game.

You just have to laugh at some of the shots Giddey was making. Certainly isn’t his thing at all usually.

Good to see Joe actually had the balls to bench a starter late in Holiday. Smart played late far too many times in the last two seasons when Derrick White should have been in.

I’m glad these guys are in the West because I’m seriously convinced they could give any team in the league serious issues in a 7 game series

I blame Sam Cassell. If he hadn't gotten sick, he would have been here to remind Joe to send someone to post up SGA, as soon as he got 4 fouls.

Jaylen had a rough game, it happens. Not going to read any further into it, he just can’t get tunnel vision like tonight against the best teams.

Return to Boston Celtics
