We had 13 turnovers. That’s not a crazy amount. Maybe we could stop a few unforced which would drop us to 10. But that is t close to why we lost

hes played one way his entire career with mixed results. basically a one man show ala james harden. im not sure it was ever a given he would or even could be successful a different way?

he needed to come in here with oscars mentality. he hasnt

Then give him top billing.

1. dame has had very mixed results with top billing

2. giannis isnt going to defer to a old pg who doesnt defend and chucks like a mfer and as a champion and finals mvp nor should he

It's such a poorly constructed roster. At some point the guy who paired it with this coach will cop some blame for it.

My god. Some on here are being totally ridiculous with comparing Dame to Payton and Anthony **** Mason. Mason would have went Sprewell on Grief by now (who could blame him?) Like Jrue, Dame is an awesome teammate. But he's a much better player than Jrue and a better fit with Giannis. Some here are absolutely romanticizing Jrue's play here. He was very shaky during parts of all 3 playoff runs.

It is also not Dame's fault that Giannis picked an idiot for a coach. This team would be very, very good with Atkinson or Nurse.

Horst pulled a rabbit out of his hat with the Dame trade considering very few thought we had the ammo to get it done. Seeing Grief in action, I feel like we're probably the 5-7 seed without that trade going down.

But Horst not being able to do anyting in the draft is going to be his downfall. Every team we play has some solid young talent and we just seem to have none (although I do like Ajax). Doesn't seem to be a coaching thing either, as he's currently on coach number 3.

They're clearly a bad matchup for our personnel, but it is kinda pathetic to be getting punk'd like this to such a soft team.

Yeah I'm with you. Dame has fundamentally changed how our team should operate. Honestly I'm ok with moving anyone outside of Dame/Giannis and probably AJJ to create better team balance.

OG was probably the type of player we should have taken a risk on, undervalued due to his injury history but a versatile and capable defender.

Want to give a special shout out to Pat. I have watched a lot of hoops this year and I think he's been one of the worst rotation players in the league. He's basically a 3&D guy who cannot hit the 3 or D anyone. We are oddly letting him bring the ball up the court instead of Dame. Great guy but he should be a 9th or 10th man at this point.

We’re getting punked on defense by basically any competently coached team.

I’m not a X and O guy, and even I can tell what’s going to happen every time the opponent brings the ball up the court. They’re running circles around this scheme.

I'd be on the phone to Bud and begging to take him back.

Griffin is not the guy.

The fact that Pat is still one of our main rotation players is pure comedy.

If I was going to list reasons why AG should be fired, I might list PC being one of our main rotation players as the #1 reason why.

First viewing in a couple weeks due to a vacation. Adrian Griffin remains an unserious person. Zero feel for the flow of the game. Awful defensive scheme. Doesn’t cater to player strengths. Pulls guys when they’re hot. F***s with lineups when they’re rolling. Just an altogether unserious person.
