IQ was actually rated higher than Maxey, though Maxey was a better finisher at the rim and almost a year younger. Miami's scouting has now taken over the Spurs with finding talent late in the 1st and undrafted players.

Maxey has better athleticism and that will always go a longer way in a league like this. But IQ is no slouch himself and his shot was looking for real tonight. Just love his energy and the pace he plays at. It's a perfect match for Scottie and the more they lean on that, the better we'll be going forward.

He can def be our Maxey/Murray, two other Kentucky guards!, to Scottie's Embiid/Jokic in terms of a two-man game. Not saying they'll reach those heights but it's not a bad template to copy from.

Maxey is a lot faster and has blowby speed. Their first steps off a close out are not that close. Maxey might be the fastest in the league. Quickly doesn't really have that in the same way.
