I feel like I won something. Cheers!

I don’t hate this for POR.

Why is Grimes considered a good prospect?

Idk, I have more faith in Simons

Either way sounds good though.

Little tweak:

NYK get Simons
PHI gets Fournier, Grimes, and Grant
POR gets Harris, Melton, Korkmaz, Martin, 26 OKC 1st, 29 PHI 1st w/ LAC swap, 24 NYK 2nd, 29 POR 2nd returned

Could we survive defensively with Simons and Maxey on the court in the playoffs? It’s a very enticing duo in theory, but I think it would be pretty disastrous for the team on D.

We don't like taller guards who can shoot and defend? Ones who are basically the same age as Maxey? There's obviously some projection required to a starter for Grimes.

Simons has talent, but doesn't fit with Maxey. Perfect to flip to a third team who needs a scorer, though.

Agreed. Grimes to me is like Wayne Ellington.

Cool size at 6'5" 205 pounds and shooting ability. Can fit as a low-maintenance floor spacer in various lineups.

But offers very little, outside of shooting. Low assists, blocks, steals, rebounds.

A downgrade from Melton in a major way.

His size makes him far more functionable, and playable, in the playoffs vs. a team like Boston.

Not everyone is going to fit a perfect statistical profile. I remember hearing arguments against Tyrese Haliburton, for example.

That might be a suitable argument if Grimes was 19. They're the same age.

Sixers out: Tobi, Springer, KJ Martin, ‘26 OKC 1st, ‘24, ‘28’ and ‘29 2nd’s
Sixers in: Hunter, Bey, and Bogdanovic

Hawks out: Hunter, Bey, and Bogdanovic
Hawks in: Tobi, Springer, KJ Martin, ‘26 OKC 1st, ‘24, ‘28 and ‘29 2nd

Takes up salary for a bigger move later, but makes us a lot better and possibly the deepest team in the league.

Knicks fans already act as if they've traded for Embiid. It's bizarre.

Been a long time since they've had anything to be excited about, gotta expect to see some crazy dreaming.

I wouldn’t give up that clippers 28 pick unless I’m getting a true star back. The rest of the draft compensation should be enough to get that deal done.

Just have us trading the ‘28 2nd, not the Clippers 1st

Embiid and Maxey aren't good enough 1-2 punch to win with role players. We need another player who can perform as 2ish star in playoffs, giving up picks for role players won't get us anywhere

You are not getting that player, can you share your plan?

I would think Keldon Johnson has to be worth something other than a salary dump

The point there was to get SA a PG. I was thinking CP3 would help toward leveling the rest of their roster up, and that would be worth more to Pop. But it makes sense they could value Keldon higher.

What if you simplified it a little?

GSW gets Tobias and Tre
PHI gets Wiggins and McDermott
SA gets Paul

Draymond and Wiggins for Tobias and Melton. Provide the Warriors the option to rebuild with Steph this offseason while still kinda competing this season.

We fill the team up with dogs who will want to kill each other.... and Andrew Wiggins. Upside is we'll actually have a PG-like player on the team with Draymond.
