Jaylen Brown is overrated.

This is so shortsighted. He’s sharing the offense with four (!) other all star caliber players and still averages 23 ppg on 48% shooting. Wtf?

His dribbling might be mechanic to some degree, but he’s still a lot better than, say, RJ Barrett in that regard. The athleticism, versatility and defensive ability, however, are off the charts. The guy is as good as it gets when talking about long 3&D wings. Needless to say, he’d average 30 on any other team, as indicated by the 26.6 ppg he put up last year.

agree that our guys is the better duo as of late, but its complete apples and oranges.
The Celtics have 5 guys in the starting lineup (+Pritchard) who can create their own offense, so its clear that they don't get the same usage as Brunson and Randle.

Combing through Twitter to find guys with single-digit follower numbers to post here just because they hate RJ too is some fanatical sh*t lol

If Jaylen is so good then how come he needs four other all star caliber players on his team

He claps back with more dumb crap. Only thing he's right about evaluating talent over the decades.

The question was about his dumbass Jalen Green comment. Gil goes on again about the past knicks.
Dude nobody is talking about our crap fest from years past is that all you got to say?

Who on that team besides Tatum is all-star calibur? Porzingis and White are role players...Holiday has been great but he is somewhat past his prime...maybe borderline all-star level...but Porzinigis and White are certainly nowhere near all-star level...they are actually profiting from all the attention being drawn to Tatum and Brown....

Didnt say he was a bad player, he's good. But he's not a max contract guy and as you mentioned his handle is below average. If he wasn't surrounded by so much talent I think he'd be exposed a bit.

I can't bring myself to giving his vids a view. It's funny, because I watch him on Sharp's pod and I generally enjoy is perspective. The Knicks thing, though, seems personal.

I don’t think you’re wrong, but I also don’t think he’s overrated. A guy with that profile gets the max anywhere. 26.6 ppg, most-athletic 3&D wing at that age. Come on.
