Thats what im crossing my fingers for. Add two guys.
Im glad the financials have finally caught up to us to where we have to invest in the draft.
How often do these 22 year old dudes workout in the NBA? I don't follow the draft a ton, but with all focus on 18 year old dudes with tons of upside...how often do we see the older guys show up "NBA ready"? Like JJJ seems to be?
Lots of variables contribute to readiness. Try and find a guy who can play both ends well. I think your dude McCullar is going to be another. Ready to go defender. Has a consistent shot now. Shot like 15 freebies last game. That will all translate.
I wish the dude would do more of the little things...like I dunno attempt to box out. He tends to eat up time around the basket...but is only looking to score.Even when he becomes the defacto PF he is not doing his big any favors...will not even talk about the second chance points he gave up last game. I know the dude was running with 4 and 5 fouls a lot of that game...but still you can at least attempt to box out and do more then a weak Duncan Robinson swipe attempt as dudes go by you. Not a great defensive game by him sadly.
It looks like Kanas's rotations are started by their Corner guys, and he takes every opportunity to rush the baseline for the pass VS work back around along the arch. I guess the good of that is he stays in motion...the bad...he does come off a bit greedy for the easy stuff. Easier scores, easier assists back inside... That might all be by design....but point remains...dude has to start thinking of what will make me work at the next level and really show off THAT stuff.
Obvious I like McCullar, but the more of him I watch live...and not just highlight reels...the more I appreciate JJJ.
