I would think Keldon Johnson has to be worth something other than a salary dump

The point there was to get SA a PG. I was thinking CP3 would help toward leveling the rest of their roster up, and that would be worth more to Pop. But it makes sense they could value Keldon higher.

What if you simplified it a little?

GSW gets Tobias and Tre
PHI gets Wiggins and McDermott
SA gets Paul

In my (meaningless) opinion that seems like pretty fair value all around. Would I personally do it? Probably not. Wiggins is a solid rotational piece, but I don’t think he’s a difference maker compared to Tobi. He’s under contract for longer so that’s a plus I guess, but I don’t know if it’s worth it to shake up the team/locker room to add Wiggins

I'm too lazy to break it down exactly but trade for both bogeys and watch the greatest offense in NBA history unfold. One part would be to tobi for Detroit bogey. I'm guessing draft capital and matching expiring salary for hawks bogey. Crazy sniping around Embiid. The bogeys would have no problem pulling the trigger on many many open spots up threes provided by maxey and Embiid.

I would entertain any idea based around trading for Wiggins as long as we aren't giving up one of our core players (yes, that includes Tobias THIS SEASON).

Wiggins is the forever future sixer

gonna happen when he's like 37 but still gonna happen.

I personally would not mind him here. I agree with you. I think it's bound to happen at some point in his career. His dad Mitch played here. Andrew...Wiggins...Would be great here. I feel like it's the trade nobody is talking about right now that may happen at the deadline. GS may just say the hell with the season and trade him.

Wiggins and Kuminga for Harris.

GSW needs a 2 for 1 upgrade now. Philly takes on two slightly lesser players who are younger with higher (unreachable?) ceilings.

Best case scenario Warriors trade…

Sixers trade: Morris, Reed, Springer, House, ‘26 OKC 1st & ‘24 2nd

To the Warriors for: Wiggins, Kuminga & Saric

Oh god, Tobias would be such a dreadful fit in the Warriors system.

You are not getting that player, can you share your plan?

I could see us trading Tobi, Morris, Springer and a first for Bogdonovic, Murray, and Capela. We say screw FA this year and take on depth and a starting PG.

If we make a move for Capela, we would need to move Reed in the deal, right?

That's a lot of money on a backup C, but shrewd hedging of playoff bets.

Reed can veto any trade this year, however.

I don't really see why Atlanta would do it. I think they could get a lot more for those pieces individually.

Puts our roster way out of balance too, so I think you'd need a 3rd team or a follow up. We go from pretty deep at forward, to having a major hole, and not having enough minutes at guard or center to distribute to the guys we'd have.

I love Batum, but I don't think you can rely on him to be a heavy minute starter on a consistent basis.

We could include Hunter instead of Capela for wing depth. They’d only do a trade of this scale if they wanted to blow up the roster, resetting their salary cap and getting solid draft picks in return.

We're not a Finals level team as is. Batum and Cov have been nice additions, but neither have given us any consistency at the wing position. We're also still devoid of another guard on this roster that can score and create for others. I feel like under our current situation, we pick one or the other and then try and fill the other position in the summer.

I actually think it’d be in our best interest to grab a Capela to back up Jo since the Paul Reed experiment looks like a bust.

Murray will likely not yield the same value the Hawk traded for him, so I think a first and maybe some other form of draft incentive would be enough.

Freeing up space for the Hawks to make a play in FA makes Tobias extremely valuable to the Hawks. Capela and Bogdonovic are on multi year deals. They’ll be handcuffed for a while with a subpar team.

The more you watch this team attempt to play with injuries the more it’s obvious that depth is sorely needed. Obviously we need good players and not just bodies, but another guard and forward is a must. The challenge for Morey is going to be adding those players without messing up his master plan for max cap space and multiple 1st’s to trade at his disposal in the offseason.

RoCo, Korkmaz, House, Springer, KJ Martin, any/all 2nd’s we have…need to turn that into a 2 players that will improve the rotation. Easier said than done obviously, but I don’t think it’s impossible by any means

It's not like those are bad contracts though, where we're doing them a favor. I think each could individually be moved for expiring+asset if they wanted to go that direction, with Murray likely bringing in a decent haul on his own.
