I don't know what an Osmows is but how did Tim Hortons get dragged into slander?

Imagine the intense Portland foodie scene, but significantly more ethnic diversity and pride. My sister lives in Queens and will never move, is an extreme foodie, and frequently travels internationally to eat local food on other continents for days on end. She came back from Toronto like, "I could totally live there". While TH is an unquestionable Canadian institution, doughnut holes from a chain as a primary culinary recommendation to an outsider is downright disrespectful.

It's more like Duncan Donuts in Boston. Great food abounds but EVERYONE gets their Duncan.

Looking closer, it seems like Timmys only received a little collateral damage. I suspect if they had only gone there people would have been like aight. I'll allow it.

fwiw, my guess is LaVine ends up with the Lakers and Siakam in GSW, ATL or IND.

IQ is a good player but it's gonna take him some time to adjust to being a lead guard if he ever does.

In all honesty, Quick used to drive me crazy with his decision making. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see him as THE guy. He's a great change of pace guy and will probably be a 20+ppg guy for years. But does that equate to wins??? Guys (myself included) chastise Randle for disappearing in the playoffs but Quick disappeared even the more.

Quite frankly, I considered him a chucker - ala Vinnie Johnson. Good at changing the pace, bringing a team back from being down, providing a spark. But a bona-fide lead guard, he's not - imho

My gut agrees with this. I think there are good starter pairings for him though. Barnes might be one.

I keep telling my wife I'm ready to shave my head, but she is happy with it (I think she likes that there's a lot of hair combed over LOL). So I'm sticking with it for now. Having nothing to do with his on court abilities, I've been chuckling about how TOR fans have openly championed their hometown hero returning to his roots and playing for the Raps, basically screaming ONE OF US ONE OF US ONE OF US over and over, and then RJ immediately f*cking up some local isht at such an egregious level that they can't let it slide. I could feel the disappointment and disgust in some of these replies.

Toronto is a foodie wonderland. This would have been like Melo getting off the plane from Denver in 2011 and - intentionally on camera - excitedly telling a hungry Chauncey on the ride to The Garden, "oh, we about to get you a slice from SBARRO's!"
