Imagine the intense Portland foodie scene, but significantly more ethnic diversity and pride. My sister lives in Queens and will never move, is an extreme foodie, and frequently travels internationally to eat local food on other continents for days on end. She came back from Toronto like, "I could totally live there". While TH is an unquestionable Canadian institution, doughnut holes from a chain as a primary culinary recommendation to an outsider is downright disrespectful.

It's more like Duncan Donuts in Boston. Great food abounds but EVERYONE gets their Duncan.

Looking closer, it seems like Timmys only received a little collateral damage. I suspect if they had only gone there people would have been like aight. I'll allow it.

fwiw, my guess is LaVine ends up with the Lakers and Siakam in GSW, ATL or IND.

In all honesty, Quick used to drive me crazy with his decision making. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't see him as THE guy. He's a great change of pace guy and will probably be a 20+ppg guy for years. But does that equate to wins??? Guys (myself included) chastise Randle for disappearing in the playoffs but Quick disappeared even the more.

Quite frankly, I considered him a chucker - ala Vinnie Johnson. Good at changing the pace, bringing a team back from being down, providing a spark. But a bona-fide lead guard, he's not - imho

My gut agrees with this. I think there are good starter pairings for him though. Barnes might be one.

Sure, but if someone was new to Boston and was literally like, I don't know where to eat, you think Dunkin would be anywhere in the initial conversation?

After he put the clamps on Lebron, they both wound up on the floor. Then Lebron used the old "left elbow to the mouth non-fouling contact" to soften up JJJr. Coach had a legit reason to risk ejection for that.

When are we eligible to offer Malachi Flynn and a 2nd round pick to get back IQ?

I'm up there with you guys. I have a bunch of hair on top from a comb over. I keep telling my wife I'm ready to shave my head, but she is happy with it (I think she likes that there's a lot of hair combed over LOL). So I'm sticking with it for now. Actually, I love wearing my Knicks cap so it's not a big deal.

I have family up in Halifax and can vouch that the Canadlings have some bomber shawarma joints. And that's just the cheap eats. I can see how that got out of hand.

Toronto is a foodie wonderland. This would have been like Melo getting off the plane from Denver in 2011 and - intentionally on camera - excitedly telling a hungry Chauncey on the ride to The Garden, "oh, we about to get you a slice from SBARRO's!"

Recommendeding chain food in a city as diverse as Toronto is kinda crazy. That's like going into Manhattan looking for something to eat and stopping at a McDonald's

Oh, I'm not going bald, I have some solid Bajan genes. It's just that my momma passed down her graying traits to me and i started going gray at 27. I got tired of dying my hair and during the pandemic i just started shaving my head and I've stayed that way
