Where's the lie? We're a dumpster fire, and Jrue should be thanking his lucky stars he got traded to a team with a competent FO.

Unless Boston wins a championship the lie is "better things." I love Jrue. For a hundred reasons. Its obvious he's still f***ing irate that the Bucks traded him. Which is understandable. Doesn't make me love him, or hate the Celtics, any less.

Not really a lie if he got a good read on what kind of coach AG was going to be.

Better things = ending up in Boston instead of the Portland wasteland he was traded to.

Should he say that he’s on to worse things, even though they are better than us currently? I’m confused.

Too much overanalyzing Jrue's meaning and intent. Helped win a ring, now on another team. He's in the rear view mirror. We've moved on. No regrets. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Would have been better if he said "I am on to a more racist fanbase." It's ok though, if he makes a few crucial mistakes in the postseason he will see it for himself if he has not already.

I have no problem with what he said, just dislike the majority of their fans.

Bucks play terrified against Boston like they always do. Will be evidenced once again by Giannis struggling to hit lay ups and going into barrel into everyone mode and the Bucks as a team bricking wide open shots.

Celtics will feed off of the Bucks fear and build a ton of confidence off of the Bucks fear, which will lead to the Celtics playing great, like they always do against the Bucks.

Game is over by halftime, Bucks make a fake run when the fear/pressure is off because they're down by 20+ in the 4th quarter.

If the Bucks cut it inside of 10 in the 4th, look for them to immediately **** themselves again once the pressure returns and quickly be back down by 15+ again.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

What the Warriors are to Boston, Boston is to us.

LOL this is like a play-by-play of the first meeting a few months ago. I don't think it'll go exactly the same way.

Last season the Bucks were down by 50 and lost by 40+ at home to the Celtics a mere two weeks before the playoffs.

Bucks got blown by 20+ in Boston last season in Boston.

Bucks in their only win against Boston last season, needed overtime to beat Boston's freshmen team. The Celtics rested so many guys in that game I wouldn't even call it their JV squad. And the Bucks at home, with all of their players needed overtime to win the game.

Bucks got humiliated and blown out in Boston in game 7 two years ago after completely **** themselves in game 6.

Chances are it will probably go the same the way.

The Bucks have only beaten the Celtics twice in their last 8 tries.

One game being Jrue's masterclass in game 5 in Boston in 2022. And then last season when we needed overtime at home to beat Boston's freshmen team, with Jrue hitting the massive 3 late in overtime to put us up by 2.

But what a cruel twist of fate that the only guy on the Bucks who didn't **** himself when we played Boston, actually plays for Boston now.

Khris has usually been good against the Cs.
Absent for that last playoff series.

Dame has only had one game as a Buck against them.

That comment by Jrue makes me really want to see the Bucks kick the Celtic's ass, but I am certainly not counting on it whatsoever.

37 games into this season and my #1 biggest takeaway from this Bucks team (Aside from the obvious of AG being a really bad hire) is that this team has no pride and no competitive fire.

The Bucks just had a pathetic showing vs Houston and then followed it by a somehow even more pathetic showing at home vs the Jazz. That was pretty insane for a team that is supposed to be one of the top contenders in the league.

You know it's bad when even Marquees Johnson describes your effort as Disgusting

And it hasn't just been in these past few games. Say what you want about AG, but the Bucks overall effort level has been pretty pathetic most of the season. I have been saying since early November that if prime Phil Jackson was coaching this Bucks team, I am not sure it would make a huge difference with the Bucks level of effort and intensity. AG is a bad coach, but we also can't let the players off the hook here.

Sure, the Bucks will win some games and beat some of the bad and mediocre teams simply bu just having 2 top all-time 75 players.

But if you're looking for a a fiery competitive Bucks team with pride that will go head to head with teams like Boston, you're going to be extremely disappointed.

Jrue could bitch slap Giannis in pregame warm ups and call the Bucks a bunch of soft losers to their faces, and I would still bet all of my money on Boston winning by at least 10+.

Pump the breaks here, chief. "no pride, no competitive fire, bitch slap Giannis, soft losers" Not to mention "Bobby is a fake tough guy..." (not sure if you were one of the many who've claimed that or not but hysterical stuff coming from an Internet comments section)

Lets get real. This season hasn't been fun. Since the onset. Griffin has been all kinds of annoying. He can't be gone soon enough. I feel bad for Dame and his family situation. Its obviously affecting his play. But this core, with Jrue and PJ, won a title not that long ago. Nobody outworks Giannis. Nobody punks Giannis. Bobby isn't a "fake tough guy." Its bad right now but you're talking some wild sh*t here.

If you weren't a Bucks fan you would agree with me.

And no, I am not the one who called Bobby a fake tough guy. I don't think Bobby is a fake tough guy.

The lacking pride and soft thing is strictly basketball related.

If the Bucks and Celtics got into a brawl in the parking lot after the game, I would take the Bucks. I agree with you 110% that no one works harder than Giannis. I disagree when you say that no one punks him, on the basketball court.

If we're talking about the Bucks and Celtics playing a basketball game, I am betting on the Bucks **** themselves and I am picking Boston 10 out of 10 times. Recent history between the Bucks and Celtics over the past several seasons says it's the smart and the easy bet.

Middleton looking absolutely terrified to shoot open jumpers in the 1st quarter in the game agianst Boston last November was one of the biggest, if not the biggest reason why we lost.

Felt like one of those games where we might have actually won if Khris simply didn't suit up.

Crazy how such a mentally tough Boston team keeps managing to choke every single postseason over the entire Tatum/Brown era. They must be so unlucky to constantly run into the one team more mentally tough than them every year, which somehow happens to be a different team every time...

Yeah I get we're in a dark place right now but can we stop making a team that hasn't won a ring since MySpace was popular sound like the 90s Bulls?
