They won't have to worry about facing Draymond in the playoffs this year.

Butler on the other hand...

I swear Jimmy Butler must have an incredible publicist or something lol. The Celtics got torched by Caleb Martin and Gabe Vincent last year. Jimmy was just ok.

That was the series where the "soft and mentally weak" Celtics battled back from down 0-3 to force a Game 7. And then Tatum got injured on the first possession of the game.

You have a computer - feel free to use it to provide stats just like I did. Good luck, I wish you well. Here, I'll give you a head start on the Jimmy question:

The Celtics are a devastating -1 with Butler on the floor in the times they've met in the playoffs since he joined the Heat. Really got me there, VanWest82.

Yeah, the perception of his postseason run last season is heavily skewed by him turning into peak Jordan vs. the Bucks and stuffing Jrue into a locker to a degree I never thought possible lol. Outside of the Bucks series, his run over the next 3 series was good by all-star standards but not anything overly special. It was much more a story of Spo being the GOAT coach (only somewhat exaggerating) and some of the Heat support players stepping up like crazy imo.

What's your plus/minus making ridiculous Celtics prediction threads?

Weird time to make this thread. Bucks just spanked them.

- Best net rating in the league at +9.2
- Second-best net rating for starters at +7.7
- Third-best net rating for bench at +3.2
- Top 4 in both offensive rating and defensive rating. No other team is top 4 in both.
- The best defensive backcourt in the league.
- Two of the best forwards in the league in Tatum and Brown, and arguably the best duo in the NBA.
- Top 5 center
- Tatum top 5-10 player
- Brown top 10-20
- KP top 10-20
- Every starter arguably top 50.

This team is strong at the top and is deep. It can play lockdown defense when it's focused and dialed in. It has so many offensive options so if 1-2 players are cold on a given night, they still have a good chance to win.

I just don't see how anyone can beat this team in a 7-game series if they are healthy.

It's not happening.

Come back to this thread in June and congratulate me.

The true.

Top 5 Center?
KP top 10 - 20??

The Celtics are pretty clearly the best regular season team, but we've seen this story for the past few years. Wake us all up when they do this in the playoffs.

I just provided stats showing he was a top 20 player and a top 5 center. You completely ignored that, so why in the world would I meet your new request? There's no point.

Yeah, I changed my mind since the first game of the season, based on the evidence that has arisen since. I believe that's called logic.

Very selective on what advanced metrics you use. Funny enough
