DAL pick IS protected but, will most likely convey this year. Ours will expire before we trade for a star as welI. There is no one on the market. I am not suggesting we have to trade them for Murray but, we have to use them before we can make a star trade. So however they want to do that is one thing. They absolutely HAVE TO do that in the next three weeks though. Otherwise they will have to use them in the draft and hope the players they get have the same value.

they can also you know make the selections...like Utah did with Kessler...and they can show out in SL and then be used as trade assets as well.

Yeah...I mentioned that. It's dumb and risky. What if they draft busts?

it is but its also risky to make a hasty trade as well. If you believe in your scouting and drafting (we found IQ and Grimes in the 20's) it shouldn't be too risky.

Deuce maybe is earning it, but as soon as Brunson comes back he’ll be back to quick hooks. Crazy how Deuce couldn’t get 2 min and now playing 40….even with an injury

iHart wasn’t even starting over Sims. Took like 3 injuries for him to get there.

It’s all lunacy how fickle Thibs circle of trust is, and how quickly some move in and out, while others stay there no matter what.

Thibs has failed everywhere he went. We give him the keys and he's just as bad here as he was everywhere else. He burned out in Chicago after running players careers into the ground. He flamed out quick in Minny too. Now he's doing it here. He needs to go.

Trade Randle and Hart for the star they want and fire Thibs immediately.

Thibs is in year four of his deal. He will be a lame-duck coach next season unless they extend him. He turns 66 tomorrow. How much longer do they go with him?

Short of a collapse I think he’ll get extended. A lot of what the Knicks are doing is built around him. And to his credit he does get results in terms of wins. It can just come at a cost. And questions if his rigid style can lead us far in the playoffs .

There is more than one way to skin a cat but, we will risk punting a good playoff run this season and acquiring an available future asset by being too cheap. I guess that's ok for some but, I'm ready to make some noise now. This years picks hold no real value moving forward after the deadline unless we draft players that are good enough...AND we have to hope Thibs will even play them. That's a huge factor.

We shall see what they manage to get done. I put little to no stock in anything being reported because no one has had any insight to any trades we have made so far. None at all. Hart/OG were announced with no pre existing discussions in the media. Rose was out of nowhere. The media have zero sources in the Knicks FO.

Still wiping the drool off my mouth from Orlandos young talented roster, stash of draft picks and cap situation. OKC East.

At least we have lots of CAA clients and a faux Villanova reunion.

It's wild the stories some of you come up with about what people are thinking and the motivations for what happens, you really have no clue. I'm not sure what anyone would get out of thinking you know this stuff but it's entertaining watching you people creative write some sports fanfic.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

They should just feed him hot pastrami sandwiches every night and let nature take it's course. New coach in 2025!

Everyone sees it but Thibs. We need to turn up the public pressure.

Time the front office sit him down and have that talk. It's been long overdue! There are 15 players on the roster. You have to use more than 9 of them BEFORE players get hurt. I want him gone ASAP. Thibs/Randle/Hart can all STFU and GTFO. They are bums.

It must have been Weinstein Dolan was referring to in The Straight Shot's song Brother From Another Mother
