Trae Young’s on/off numbers are also abysmal this year for the first time. I haven’t watched their games but something is clear wrong with that team generally. I’m not going to advocate that hard for him because there are enough flags to avoid him but the vision Atlanta had for that roster & Murray’s role on it was misguided.
There’s a reason his market price is on the lower side for a player of his talent. The big question to me is whether he’s a personality fit. Can he accept a role as #3 & commit to Nurse’s system? I have no idea but our decision makers likely have a lot more info on that than I do.
