I'll keep harping on it but he needs to be more efficient. The talent in this league is ridiculous right now. I'm seeing guys like Jalen Williams even making huge strides in efficiency that we need to see with Paolo. Now, JW is almost 2 years older than Paolo, but nonetheless, there needs to be serious improvement in efficiency. Enough with the lazy takes into the paint. The jumper, while good, is not good enough to be a superstar. He needs to keep working. I'm hoping we see that jump next year... but it would help if the FO helped him out with the roster too.
He def needs to improve in that area, but to be fair, this slump lately is without Franz. I wanna see him with a great guard like SGA too lol
Jalen is more efficient than Paolo even when SGA is off the court. It's partially Jalen just being a better shooter, the OKC offense actually running modern sets, and the FO putting legit shooters on the roster. Notice, 2 of those 3 things are out of Paolo's control... but Paolo needs to improve as a shooter as well. TS% of 53.5% isn't going to cut it. I believe it was at 55% when Franz when out.
