They Magic are only really missing one guy at this point. Granted he's very important, but still. There's still 9/10 rotation guys available basically.

We need that guy, they have all their top guys except Bamba…

Silly question: is there anything saying a player can’t attempt a FT floater/layup when taking a FT? Is there a rule about landing over the line?

No the 9 games created a cushion for this team to stay afloat for December and January. They just have to figure it out the second half of the season.

We don't need to 'break them up'... we just need to tweak a bit. WCJ is trade bait but he can certainly stay if not needed in a trade. We desperately need to upgrade Cole and Fultz.

I don't understand the reasoning for a trade, we are just not contenders this season, Paolo and Franz are too young, we will make the playoffs regardless but top teams are on another level this season

Sure. I mean, I don't hold grudges outside of GTs, it's fine.. I've had wars with pepe for years and now I agree with him  . I just think the FO gets off scot-free with way too much in terms of not making it easy for the coach with a roster full of so many injuries and guys that aren't consistent.

I usually get critical of coaches once I feel like we aren't competing in the playoffs or if the expectation is high and we blow it. All I know is players are talking about Mose positively more than I've ever heard - surely if he's not a great offensive mind then we can bring in assistants that can help.

I believe in our willingness to keep battling, but I don't believe in our ability to turn that into success right now. The shot making, decision making, and overall talent level just isn't there. Getting Franz back helps a lot, of course, but that will only go so far. For this season, we're still on track overall, but this roster as-is has a clear limit to it. We've gotten a lot of internal improvement, but I don't think that can be the game plan again next season. It will be time to improve externally.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

This. They got to stay afloat by end of Jan then they will pick the wins in Feb and March. This sucks now but they will snap out of it.

This team just hurts itself so badly on the margins almost every single night.

Turnovers, giving up offensive rebounds, fouling.

They are a four factors nightmare.

Where's Steve Clifford when we need him?

Tend to agree. Although I’d trade Cole or Fultz for picks or a young guy with upside in a heartbeat. Or a trade that is designed to help more so in 25/26 than 24. This team isn’t anywhere near the Celtics or the Sixers. Yet.
