What are peoples thoughts on Jaxon Hayes of the Lakers? Wasn’t he an up and coming C for the Pelicans? Now he is buried on the bench.

Maybe trade Brown to Minnesota and get Naz Reid + Leonard Miller.. in some kind of package.

lakers would be a tough one but possibly d'angelo + hood schifino + future 1st. d'angelo has an $18.7 mil PO next season. then we follow up with a shroeder deal now or in the summer.

the other contract they have is rui but he has 2 more years after this one. they're not gonna trade reaves.

maybe we can do a schroder deal with the lakers; probably is how much do people want any of their assets.

I don’t think Minnesota trades Naz Reid. He is like some kind of folk hero there. I think they just wait to see how playoff go and if it goes poorly address the financial issues in the offseason. I don’t see them making a money move with a key piece when things are finely going well for that franchise.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

pels can choose whether to take the lakers 24 or 25 draft pick. the one they don't choose, the lakers have which means the earliest pick they can currently outright trade is their own 2027 frp which could have some legit value.

The great thing is the price for Brown is very affordable for most teams. He is like OG light. For the Raps its a no brainer to move him.

If the warriors offer Kuminga and filler for Brown I’m taking it. It looks like that relationship is beyond repair.

Yeah I’m saying yes to Rui, 2027 1st for Brown. I don’t love Rui but we need the size and he’s still 25. That 2027 is super valuable. I’d even throw in Dennis and McDaniels for Russell if they want

i made an error the 2027 pick is top 4 protected to utah so the lakers can't trade that.

Lakers assets don't interest me in the least

Send Gary our for Rui, if anything

JHS is horrible, we know he can't shoot for sht. Why would anyone want to trade for him?

He's a non-prospect.

I just watch Pansare trade proposals and there is one that make some sense to me.

I am a bit sceptical that we can get Grimes + 1st pick + Fournier (filler) for Bruce Brown jr.

He did a little tweak that I found interesting.

Brown + OKC 2024 1st (our worst 1st) for Grimes, Fournier + 2025 MIL 1st

I like the flip b/w 2024 to 2025

Basically we would trade Brown for Grimes , a filler and arguably improving the value of our worst pick received in the Siakam trade.

Okay so 2027 then but I doubt they trade that for Bruce Brown regardless.

Regardless, like I said it's not like we gave more money to Porter. He got slightly more money in Denver and into a better situation. I don't see how it's implausible that we had interest in him.

Don’t bother. Danger never mention Brown once until after the blew up in Denver. Just pure hindsight gm-ing

Didnt love the OPJ signing cause I thought we needed a guard going into last year (which we did) but Brown didnt exactly fit. OPJ brings more size/shooting. The fit with Brown/OG/Siakam/Scottie was just awful lol

I'm okay with this if they add any future 2nd pick.

They use Max Christie. Maxwell Lewis they might toss in. JHS is like Jarrett Culver.
