...with Kobe I took a different tack. I tried to be as direct as possible and show him in front of the other players how his selfish mistakes were hurting the team. Performance wise you're getting similar level of inpact. Curry wins on friendliness, so that could have its benefits.

He'll also leave your franchise, fued with your other players, and get in trouble with the law, if we're looking at that stuff. I'll take choir boy Curry over accused rapist Kobe. I'll say that again, in case someone wants to report this post. The man was accused of rape, and as part of the charges being dropped the victim forced him to issue an apology in which he recognised that in hindsight he understood she had not consented. That's not something to be swept under the rug or trivialised.

Kobe, because without Draymond and Kerr's presence I'm afraid Curry just becomes a smallish high scoring PG that you hide defensively. Not every coach would have the creativity to take the ball out of Curry's hands like Kerr has.

franchise comes from french verb "franchir" (to free), and from old french "franc" (free, genuine).
if you remove the "fran" the word doesn't make sense anymore. it's like removing "free" from "freedom".
