I just continue to giggle at the thought of trading Lamelo. What a fickle fanbase.

Bringing up trading LaMelo in the Brandon Miller thread when he just won rookie of the month is a choice. How about we don't do that?

Yeah big props to Miller. In the predictions thread I thought that Miller would be putting up these kinda performances towards March when the season was pretty much over. So happy to see him proving me wrong.

We finally got some real pieces moving forward. If only Melo and Mark can stay healthy.

Miller will be the real deal though. So glad we didn't fall for the Scoot hype.

I think Miller has an opportunity to get above 16 ppg to finish out his rookie year. He's definitely trending up. I think he can be better than Ingram and close to Paul George. He the type of player we have needed for so long. For me he's been the biggest bright spot on roster this entire season thus far. I was dooped by the Scoot hype for sure. I'm glad I was wrong because I always root the hardest for players who have proved me wrong.

I have to say as an outsider, Miller is really looking solid and the right pick at 2 at the moment

Thank you. I've heard nothing but commentators from opponent game feeds rave about him.

But Scoot is on a run. We could've made it work either way if both paths meant cutting the umbilical chord attached to Terry Rozier.

Any interest in Cody Martin?

People questioned me when I said we should trade Rozier to open up a bigger role for Miller.

This is why!

This kid is special. I just hate Clifford keeps benching him when he's got it going. Like damn bro we don't have anything else to play for let this kid get his career high.

But doesn't he lead all rookies in minutes? The plan seems viable.

Scoot will be a good player too. Keep the faith.

I'd be shocked if Miller doesn't develop into an elite scorer at this point. Miller is already a greater shooter, has underrated handles, and has an absolutely fantastic grasp of how to play around screens. I think right now he really just needs to add some strength/weight and continue to develop his off-the-dribble game in order to become a 20ppg+ guy. Once he has that down he is going to be an absolute nightmare to guard, especially given just how aware he is of offensive spacing.

We have never had a player score 26ppg+ in a season (at least since the founding of the Bobcats) and I really believe that Miller could be the first Hornet to pass that mark.

Might be averaging another point or two if Bridges knew what a drive and kick play was.

Miller is on his way to being our best player, even as a rookie. That’s no disrespect to Melo, but considering his entire game he will be a STAR in this league. I love how he is battling and grinding it out, even on a terrible, losing team. And kudos to NSJ for bringing the same attitude. These two are part of the rebuild for sure.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Miller has proved me wrong. He's the true 2nd best player in the draft when we picked 2nd. New GM and coach really can't **** this up next offseason, can they?
