Yeah, Grant can't dribble, finish at the basket, or rebound. His only value was defending Giannis types.

When people praise certain GMs like Horst, you need to account for things they didn't do. Giving up Marjon and a second for a journeyman is a steep price when Horst could have had him for nothing a year ago. But I would do it, mainly because I've always been a Dunn fan, all the way back to college.
I'd do that trade and then offer Bobby (my soulmate), PC and AJJ (who I like) for Caruso. The loss of Bobby's scoring and rebounding will be a problem, but not much you can do about it.
I would also consider adding Beasley to the trade to Chicago and keeping AJJ. Then start playing Green more off the bench.

Grant Williams is betting on Jason Kidd being awful.
Could see Rich Paul insisting MarJon go somewhere other than Utah.

George Hill was such a great pickup for us. Per LEBRON, he was break even offensively but a +.92 defensively the season prior to the trade. The season we got him, his offense shot up to +1.98 while his defense stayed where it was. For reference, Derrick White is +2.22 offense and +1.37 defense this year.
No one is really talking about Konchar but hes up to +1.72 on D now. His offensive lebron is very bad this season but he has never had a season lower than -.52 prior to this one. Certainly, playing with absolute nobodies doesnt help and being thrust into our offense should benefit him in that area.
Dunn is a -.75 offense and break even on defense this year. Historically not very impressive, but uts just one metric.
After being above +3 in total lebron each of his three seasons in Milwaukee, Jrue is now at +.67 O and +.10 D. From that metric, its his worst season by far since he was 22. Dame is a total of +2.75. Good trade.
Delon Wright: -.36, +.51
Unfortunately, almost every player you could target that has a positive D lebron with at least serviceable o lebron already plays for a team with playoff hopes. Possible solutions could be Orlando players if they want an offense for defense swap.

That's the issue with the Lebron stat. It's not really isolating the individual, you're helped by having good teammates.

One thing I’d urge is to look at the roles and the rankings within that roll, not just strictly the +/-.
For instance, you may be the 30th best big defender according to LEBRON, but your defensive value may be higher than the 5th ranked POA defender.
Every team needs POA defenders and big defenders, and I agree that bigs are more impactful defender than guards, but the takeaway from that shouldn’t be to not trade your defensive big because his raw defensive value is higher.
The reality is you could probably find a defensive big of comparable value, because the guy is 30th and closer to replacement level, than you could find a POA defender of comparable value.
