Saric is more valuable than Kornet and Drummond combined.

Celtics actually did get Gallo after about 12 years of rumors of him going to the Celtics

True. But Gallo can also shoot. Logic there. They did almost get Cousins but he chose Golden State.

Smart is a better fit in Milwaukee.

The main weakness of the Lakers is shooting and they're targetting Smart?

I think this one (and smaller versions of it), the Caruso one that has been proposed, the first for Bates-Diop and 5 seconds, and a straight TPE for Saric or maybe Drummond seem the most likely. Probably in close to reverse order of likelihood lol.

I think Cs will just get one player on or before the trade deadline.

Ok, let's just trade everyone on our bench except Horford for these 3 guys.

A bench of Horford, Olynyk, Fontecchio and Dunn sounds good to me!
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Oh man, if that deal happens. Start the duck boats. It won't even be fair for the rest of the league.

Utah can have our 2024 1st round pick plus a bunch of 2nd rounders..

This would be amazing…I’d hate to lose Walsh but you have to put the chips in when you have an opportunity like this.

The only semi realistic thing better right now is Caruso, Drummond or Carter for a similar package. That one might need another first.

Naji Marshall
SF is a good rebounder, good passer, and an adequate shooter. Like Tillman, he's on his contract year and is dirt cheap. Unlike Tillman, Naji's team is competitive. The Pels might be loathe to deal him at this time.

The problem with renting a guy we won't give minutes to, just as insurance, is that he's likely indeed just a rental, and will move on for no compensation in the offseason.

They'll get minutes. Tillman has logged 700 min while Naji has 760. Both are upgrades to Quetta and Hauser respectively. As for offseason, who cares. The team has to win now. As this point, anything less than banner 18 is failure.

Naji Marshall is absolutely not an adequate shooter. He's shooting 30% from the three over 497 attempts. His volume is also very low. Basically an Oshae Brissett-level shooter from the outside.
Apparently he was likened to Ben Simmons without size and talent coming out of college.

Celtics better off giving up PP, Svi, Banton, Lamar, and Kornet for Oly.

Dunn and Fontecchio goes in the TPE.

Queta gets converted.

No need to give up Walsh.

It could end up becoming like what happened to the Celtics trading Joe Johnson.

Hate to be the wet blanket, but Heart and Soul isn't winning a title for the Lakers with all of their issues. Celtics are better off with Jrue.

You can probably shoot free throws though.

About 50% in a 0 pressure situation…like playing Horse with my daughter.
