Bogdan and Drummond seems like the most likely. Windhorst brought up Bogdan a lot just now.

You got the wrong Bogdanovic. He was referring to Bojan on the Pistons.
I said the other day I would be good with Bojan, Drummond and Tyus Jones.

Celts traded for Xavier Tillman.

Like I said, Brogdon is the primary target. He’s the guy we need most.

Re: 76ers 2023-24 Season Thread Part 2
Brogdon and Olynyk would be an ideal combo. Morris/Korkmaz/2nds for Brogdon. Covington/2nds for Olynyk or House/2nds for Drummond.
Maxey/Beverley/Springer
Melton/Brogdon/Council
Batum/Oubre/House
Harris/Reed/Martin
Embiid/Olynyk/Bamba
Need to save the firsts for whatever star(s) become available this summer.

2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:
Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

He’s better than Drummond.
He's not necessarily better, he's different. Really good defense but not great rebounding and pretty bad offense. I like the trade very much for Boston, so I'm not putting down Tillman. But Drummond would probably be a more realistic target for us because he could eat a lot of minutes in the regular season. I don't see Tillman stewarding the center spot with Biid out. There just wouldn't be enough team offense or rebounding.
Oh, and as to their contracts, they're both UFAs after this season so Boston got a several-month rental for two distant (2027 and 2030) 2nd rounders.

Agree with mostly what you said specially about them being different. Drum is better for this season, but I see Tillman as possibly a better replacement for Reed in the long term where there’s a possibility of him being able to play with Embiid.
On the other hand, Tillman is a really good addition for Celts. He’s a proven impact player playing double big line-ups

Yup, I'm with you on all of this.
The one thing is, as I just added in an edit to my previous post, Tillman's a UFA (as is Drummond) so Boston can re-sign him but it's not a guarantee. Sixers could try to sign him if they want, too. For the Celts the advantage is that now that they have Tillman's Bird rights, they can be in the running (perhaps in lead) to sign Tillman this summer whereas they wouldn't have been otherwise b/c of capspace.
I think that B-Ball Paul has more offensive capability but is not as good a defender. Tillman seems like one of Pat Bev's dawgs. Paul has a 3.5" advantage in standing reach but Tillman is so so solid/ strong.

It's rare to find centers who can effectively play against both stronger/big and quicker/small opponents. Embiid is probably the best in this regard, and Al Horford is another example.
Tillman could potentially replace or at least serve as a solid backup for Al Horford.
I would have stashed and develop him. Once he can improve his 3pt shooting, like how Al did, he would be more than great for the team.

Sixers look like they could have a losing record in another 5 or 6 weeks.

Very much of an Eagles vibe, had the Eagles season gone on for 2 months longer.

The thing is, I don't remember anyone talking about Tillman and the Sixers. It doesn't seem as if he was ever on the team's or fans' radar. So I can't bring myself to play the "what if" game with him.
The other thing is that Horford didn't become a decent 3P shooter until his 9th season, so if you want to use him as a model I also can't feel too badly about the Embiid-era hypotheticals. I'm looking at this as us needing players who can contribute in big ways over the next 1-3 seasons.

Except Eagles didn’t have 2/3 of their team out injured. They imploded primarily due to braindead coaching decisions.

Hoping we can snag Hayward once he gets bought out.
