The Springer deal is interesting to me. Statistically, he stinks for a year 3 guy. But at the same time, he's only 21 years old and he's a former 1st rounder (28th). The only conclusion I can draw is that Springer is a guy Brad & staff have tracked for many years and like. They must see something. Color me intrigued.

It's like he's stepping into the spot they had hopes for JD Steward before the injury. Even came from the 6ers.

Thing is, Banton was not playable because he couldn't shoot. Not sure why change to Springer then. He must be a really good defender. He blocked JT is about his NBA resume so far.

My guess is that Pritchard and Hauser aren't going net you a better player at comparable money...all we are left with is the "mini moves" that we made.
