The issue is that 80% of Trae Young is a guy who is playing in China after 4 years and it's not clear Dillingham is good enough at shooting to be close to 100% of Trae Young. Dillingham also hasn't been nearly as good at getting to the line. So if you have a 33% three point shooting Trae Young who is just average at getting to the line... That guy just sucks actually, lol.
The best part of Traes game imo is his passing/playmaking (which you clearly underrate) & Dillingham isn’t even in the same stratosphere as Trae there. Trae’s passing/playmaking is the reason hawks have a top 10 offense 4 years is a row. ….Trae averaged 8.7 apg in college, Dillingham’s career high is 9 assists (which he’s only done twice). Maybe because he only plays 24 mpg but he’s still far behind Trae in per 36…. I don’t really see the comparison at all. Dillingham also looks like a more explosive athlete.
