Looks like Memphis is winning this.

Yeah, that was a relief. There was a point in the game when Houston caught up and tied it. It caused me to go nuts, but glad that Memphis won in the end. Need a few more of these from Memphis.

Those messing around in Tankathon atm, remember, when the actual lotto happens odds won’t end in a tie like how Tankathon portrays it. So the current odds are not accurate.

what do you mean? it looks right to me.

edit ah, you must be talking about the front page

the odds page has it correct

https://www.tankathon.com/pick_odds
tied teams, you add the odds then divide by 2, and flip a coin to see who gets tie breaker.

Yeah, Odds page is correct. I’m talking about simulation (which the site makes very clear but some don’t realize it even then).

I mean possibly but I doubt the Raptors have anyone who would fit that role.

I went to Tankathon for the first time and clicked Sim Lottery and the Spurs got 1st and the Raptors got 7th which went to the Spurs. I immediately closed the tab.

The odds are changing every day, depending of the scores...
This is the most recent situation, after the last night scores!

This literally never happens but I tried it right now and the raps got first pick (and 17th via Indy).

I just wanna say that I go to tankathon usually every day and sim once, and the Raps seem to win 50% of the time, and move into the top 4 like 25% of the time as well.

Sorry guys, using up our luck.

Adter reading this I have only 1 question...
Why wasn't our pick top 10 protected in the Poeltl trade?.....My God...Once you see the odds of retaining the pick its obvious San Antonio did the math before the trade and Toronto did not

Pacers remaining games:
Pistons
Mavs
Raps
Pelicans
Pelicans
Spurs
Mavs
Wolves
Magic
Thunder
Bulls
Nets
Cavs
Pistons
Warriors
Lakers
Clippers
Bulls
Lakers
Nets
Nets
Thunder
Heat
Raptors
Cavs
Hawks

I think they can go around 0.500 the rest of the way, which might be enough to sneak into the end of the lottery depending on how the play-in stuff unfolds.

Raps thought they were going to be better this year and likely didn't think at the time they would have a completely new core and sold off everyone. Plus they thought draft was awful so im guessing they didnt care for light protection and wanted to lose it

They were only competing with Boston's 2 x second round picks and Pritchard.

Most of us here knew they weren't good enough to compete and should have been sellers at last year's deadline and not buyers. The protections on the pick lacked any sort of fail safe, risk management. The odds we give up the 7th pick are more probable at this point than keeping it....Weak draft or not the 7th pick in any draft has a decent chance to be quite special

The Front office expected we'd be way better off this season. So to get then deal done sooner, we make make it top 6 protected, before someone offered San Antonio more.

I wonder what the next best offer was though.
