I think his most likely outcome in the NBA is a Lou Williams type bench scorer rather than a long term positive-impact starter. He's got lots of skills, but I think his lack of size and strength is going to limit his ultimate potential.

I don't see him as anything more than a 6th man who you can leave in to help close out games if he hits. His pre-Kentucky shooting splits are scary.

Ivisic is actually playing well in high leverage minutes this game. That's an encouraging sign.

At this point I'd legit take Alexander over Walter, at least he has a midrange game and can facilitate.

Alexander has been my guy since last year but I have to do a deeper dive into Walter. He seems good from what I’ve seen, but Alexander is definitely an NBA player in my opinion so that’s tough to beat for most players in the draft since the majority fail.

Trey Alexander is a guy I posted about 2 years ago. Similar to Hunter Salis.

Walter has to be at least as good as Keyonte George, right? At least he's still shooting 84.7% FTs. He's shooting NBA distance 3's and even with him slumping still shooting 33% from deep. I'd be okay with him with the Pacers pick.

Walter has a low BPM of 2 but looked up Stephon Castle and his is .............. 0.8!?!?!? :o WTF, is Castle another JHS?

Another candidate for the Pacers pick as I don't think he lasts until #32.

He has some ironing out in his game to do but the tools and skills are evident and when given minutes he's shown he can produce. It would depend on the board but I'd take him as high as the Pacers' pick. He's the type of big man Rajakovic drools over.

Being PnR handler, he is still a bit mechanic in his passing, getting blocked at the end (meaning he is not reading it fast enough)? But his improvement on being a ball handler is a bit surprised, even he got a turnover due to mis dribble.
His defense is all over the place, and he was very impactful at the game end. He is probably a plus at the next level, but need to be even more physical to be an elite defender.

I kind of feel he could be Tatum lite, quick release, willingness in posting up against smaller players, plus defender. I think he may move up after the combine. He would be Ujiri type of guy, I believe, but not much of a Darko guy due to lack of ability to read and process.

I was pumping him up earlier. I do see a fit but lately soured on him because I do notice a lack of burst but it can be mitigated by his size. His turnover issue is also correctable but he makes some bad ones.

You know who he comps to me? Dalano Banton with a jumper.

I think he is better than Banton in a few ways, while Banton is a non shooter with PF size, which is longer.

My comparison would be Anunoby with ball handling. May not be as good as OG on defense, but I dont think he is that far off on defense.

Even just his 80% FT shooting is an upgrade over Poeltl.

It sucks that running the P&R with Poeltl isn't efficient because he can't shoot from outside 10 ft and isn't a lob threat and only average passer.

Still baffling why we traded for him when should've let him expire with the Spurs then offer him the MLE for 4 years instead of being currently over-paid.

Like Barnes he relies a lot on bully ball, but it's still an advantage he can consistently gain on most of his defenders.

Not sure I agree that they can constantly play bully ball, particularly against above .500 teams. So far we only played against sub .500 except the Pacers game after the All Star?

For them to play bully game, Barnes need to play SF, but his defense may not be enough at SF. Furthermore, we arent good with Siakam who can play both forward, so I am not looking forward with just the bully game nor how we surround Barnes.

Dillingham is really talented. I'm a UK homer but he's as good as Jamal Murray was for them, but he's surrounded by better players.

I think it is sinking in that Sheppard's ability to create off the dribble is never gonna be good in the NBA, there are so many things to start reconsidering when you see Dillingham's improving live dribble creation as well as that of a guy like Isaiah Collier.

Granted Collier still has major question marks but his game has picked up tremendously and both of these guys are now displaying high level floor general skills. For all of Collier's current issues he does have extremely underrated vision/passing and isn't just a bulldozer like Dean says.

Another thing is that Dillingham at least looks very committed to defending under Calipari despite obvious question marks. Maybe I need to actually reconsider his ability to be a starting PG in the NBA.

One thing I've never questioned is Dillingham's ability to rise up to the moment and elevate his game in the clutch and that is a very special trait which cannot be taught. The guy looks possessed in big game moments and has all the confidence in the world. He is a finisher. Sheppard also is unafraid of the moment but you probably don't want the ball in his hands unless he's going straight upwards for a shot with it or has some space to operate with.

I'm really really really behind on this draft, what do you guys think of Alex Sarr? From what I've read, he seems like the perfect pairing next to Scottie and even someone like RJ, but I have yet to see him play.

I like Ivisic better than him. He seems more fluid and athletic. I don't think there's much separating them as shooters, or athletically. Ivisic just moves a lot better. If we have the chance to draft Ivisic and develop him I would like him as a counter to the Chets and Wembys of the NBA. I could see him developing into a modern day Porzingis.

That's not even factoring in today's win where he exploded for 31 points on 14-20 shooting I will need to catch that later on, although he had 0 free throws, 0 rebounds and 2-2 ast/to

Weird displays we are seeing but nevertheless there are all kinds of flashes from him
