and 1.

I don't want to be picking a scab on anyone. The hot takes regarding the Spurs needing to deal Wemby because he wants to compete is the antithesis of your post.

That being said. It is also true.

In the Spurs + Wemby mania case. It is shocking that nobody thinks the Spurs can't figure it out in short order. Ridiculous.

This is honestly one of the worst comments I have heard regarding the NBA in so long. That should be career ending. It's actually totally disrespectful to the Spurs and the sport in general. Would love Pop to fire up. NBA media is honestly the worst. Worse than poo.

True.

I mean if you are player of caliber Victor is you can simply schedule meeting with Spurs ownership& front office and Pop ( not sure how long he will stick due age) and tell behind closed doors : " look, i'm here to stay and compete, but i would like to have team that is worth risking my health & youth for. This season that wasn't a case and i did not feel we gave our best to win games. "

On point, without firing anybody and without throwing anybody under a bus . But in reality , Victor and most other young superstars litearlly are groomed by big market teams because megastar+ big market = best business for nba.

2 Things come to mind.

1 - How quickly we improved the very season we drafted Paolo
2 - How we continue to show improvement.

Year 3 of Paolo is when things will get interesting. Will we get him help? OR. Will we continue to try to build a team through the draft.

So far the Mavs are letting us down again by being spanked by the Heat

At least the Timberwolves are beating the Pacers right now.

Heat are a good team (arguably better than us, certainly in the playoffs) that want to win too. Mavs defense is abysmal right now.

Again, I get the Magic anxiety in games, but we can't just expect every team to do us favors either lol. We realistically have gotten some decent help recently and we should probably target Sixers/Pacers as the teams that we want to fall into play-in since Knicks will get some guys back and Heat have an easy schedule down the stretch. Any upset helps though.

O yea im with you I'm off the wagon of Miami being in the play in. I'm more into the pacers and 6ers losing. But the mavs have dropped 3( actually more to the Eastern conference) straight to teams that they probably should beat at home. It's not just this one.

3 game advantage in the loss column against Indy and we own that tiebreaker. Looking good to finish ahead of them right now if we beat them on Sunday and take care of business the rest of the way.
