I don't want to be picking a scab on anyone. The hot takes regarding the Spurs needing to deal Wemby because he wants to compete is the antithesis of your post.
That being said. It is also true.
In the Spurs + Wemby mania case. It is shocking that nobody thinks the Spurs can't figure it out in short order. Ridiculous.
This is honestly one of the worst comments I have heard regarding the NBA in so long. That should be career ending. It's actually totally disrespectful to the Spurs and the sport in general. Would love Pop to fire up. NBA media is honestly the worst. Worse than poo.
True.
I mean if you are player of caliber Victor is you can simply schedule meeting with Spurs ownership& front office and Pop ( not sure how long he will stick due age) and tell behind closed doors : " look, i'm here to stay and compete, but i would like to have team that is worth risking my health & youth for. This season that wasn't a case and i did not feel we gave our best to win games. "
On point, without firing anybody and without throwing anybody under a bus . But in reality , Victor and most other young superstars litearlly are groomed by big market teams because megastar+ big market = best business for nba.
