This is a must win. No excuses.
Weird loss to Brooklyn. In the Cavs last 4 they beat Boston without Mitchell, and Minnesota without Mitchell or Mobley. But they lost to the Hawks and Nets, also without Mitchell and Mobley.
We should win this one with those guys out and our big 3 healthy....along with Nurk's rebounding.
Would be nice to get this one with Boston and Milwaukee in 2 of our next 3. We do have Charlotte in a b2b after Boston, but that shouldn't be tough.
Then we have a few easy ones with Philly and Atlanta at home. We have had big problems with the Hawks, but that's mainly on the road and I think Trae is out for a while. And then Embiid is out. Philly is great with him but fairly bad without him.
Then in our last 12 games, 8 of them are road games.
We do have 2 against SA, and of course they already beat us twice in Phx....and these are both on the road and they've gotten MUCH better, and have played well lately even without Wemby.
After that every single one of our games the rest of the way are against the top 5 in the west (except 1 at Sac, who is only a half game behind us) or the top 2 in the east....with most on the road. The Mavs have one of the easiest schedules left too and the Lakers are surging, so it should get interesting.
I think we will be really tough though....so this final stretch should be interesting.
