I can’t believe I’m watching a women’s basketball game, first time ever lol. Narratives matter.

It's like watching junior high. It's amazing how different the game is at the women's level. Got to appreciate what it is lol

This match up pulled me in last year, that was fun and I actually watched some men's college deeper in the tourney for this first time this year. Lots of fun.

DonaldSanders wrote:Seems amazing this is tied, LSU is just so much bigger and athletic. Iowa has to shoot lights out to win. Really fun so far!

Aaaand right on cue Iowa hit a bunch of shots out of the half. Clark with a questionable heat check -- but then on a break later she pulls Reese out to the 3P, uses her gravity to get a teammate an open layup. Really nice!

LSU was hot earlier now they're shooting 37% from the field. Missing alot of shots everywhere.

That unnecessary, long review hurt Iowa's momentum.

Clark is the best passer in women's game. Her vision is as good as the top passers in men's pro game. I don't watch WNBA so I don't know if anyone there rivals her. She had some amazing passes in the last game before this that are highlight worthy.

LSU doing too much hero ball.

Angel Reese has to be a little more patient. She seems to do it in spurts.

does reese actually have any moves?

keep thinking defense can be better on CC but she's actually got good size compared to her defenders.
screw these absolute garbage refs

I think shes a little sloppy passing in the halfcourt but her transition passing is top tier NBA level

I have to assume Reese's ankle is bothering her for how much she has dropped off.

Clark has delivered and then some. She's hitting Steph-range shots consistently, it's crazy. And with her passing she can burn the double team.

I don’t know how I never really pondered this before, but it must be significantly easier for the ball to go in the hole in the women’s game due to the difference in basketball size. Kinda sucks that they play with a smaller ball. It makes it harder to compare shooting skill.

It's just shooting drills for Clark. Hailey Van Litj is just to short to contest. Even if she goes over.

Smarter thing for LSU to do is to switch Van Lith onto a nonscorer like Marshall and have Williams guard her..

LSU waited too long to make the adjustment. Mulkey saw Van Lith getting cooked all game.
