I mean, some of you are being a bit dramatic with the team though.
If we get 47 wins and don't get the playoffs (play-ins), that literally never has happened in the East in the last 24 seasons. Sucks dropping games at the end but this one not having Franz does hurt.

Goga wouldn't allow a SF to guard him like WCJ does.

He's not hitting so he's sulking and playing with no energy....can't post him up without getting doubled.... Can't kick it to anyone on the perimeter cause they ain't hitting.... We got to restructure this team when we get a chance..... Paolo has to be better though, coach got to let him know this sh t can't flySloNick Russia wrote:Paolo on his way to usual 1-8 three point shooting night. Teams shoud always play SF at C against us.

“Gotta stay locked in guys. Gotta trust each other. Gotta play for one another, guys” said Mosley
“But coach, they are running Van Fleet off a corner bump screen, allowing Green to flash for an easy layup. They are also staggering for the easy 3. What do we do to correct that?” replied Suggs
“Just gotta play for each other man. Lock in. Lock in. Stay engaged. I’ll let the assistants take it from here “ says Mosley
The End.

Rockets have nothing to play for. If Magic lose to this team they deserve to drop.

It would be poetic justice if the Knicks got Philadelphia in the 1st round.

Paolo gets pathetically frustrated when his shot isn't falling.
He loligags getting back on defense, his body language is terrible, he does this game after game.
It is so obvious when Banchero is going to be a net negative for the Magic, but when there is no Franz the Magic don't even have a 2nd option to turn to.
This game is over.
Young player needing to figure out how to get thru tough times. It’s coming.

Its a big game, yet we allow 36 points in 1st quarter, I get the offense but we can`t afford to suck in defense to have a shot against any team in the NBA

Goga can hold onto a rebound, and he's always team first. The ship for him sailed already. It would take weeks to get him back up to game speed.thelead wrote:SloNick Russia wrote:Paolo on his way to usual 1-8 three point shooting night. Teams shoud always play SF at C against us.

A complete disaster that the FO will have to answer for considering we're currently the 3rd seed with a week to go. It'll be on the FO for not making a move before the deadline when nearly everyone else around us did.
The Magic were expected to be in the play ins at best to start the season. This was a great season regardless.
And I think the FO have a plan to have the cap to act during the offseason, I don't think they were going to do anything at the trade deadline to disrupt that plan. And I really don't think there were many trades available at the deadline as well.

I don't think 47 wins could be considered a "disaster" by any stretch of the imagination.
But people will see it that way.

Obviously.
But we've been amazing against bad teams. It happens. Indiana has like 10-11 losses against the same teams we have 2 losses from.
Having 47 wins and not getting to the playoffs is not an indictment of this team, even with the frustration of the offense.
