The Heat and 76ers aren't that good this year. Embiid isn't 100% and he struggles against Lopez at the rim

With Dame I believe the Bucks can win against either

The Pacers on the other hand would probably beat the Bucks without Giannis

Think Bev lights a fire under everybody. They can get past all of those teams first round, while Giannis rehabs. Specifically haven't played Indiana with Pat Bev either.

I was a big Miller over Scoot guy. Everyone keeps saying it's a "guard's league" now but a 3-level scoring wing is still the most valuable archetype in the league outside of the unicorn big guys (Jokic, Giannis, Embiid). I still think Scoot will be good, but I think you really have to question his offensive ceiling. People were comparing him to Anthony Edwards and I think that's crazy.

It’s still too early to take the victory lap, but yes, first year returns aren’t looking good for for Scoot. And I was a Scoot guy, so I will be ready to take the L.

It does bring up though the utility of the G league ignite. Plausible those guys would have done better in a college setting or the teams that drafted them would have learned more from the college setting.

Seems like all the ignite guys were 2 years away from being a playable nba player. Green and Kuminga finally seem to be coming good in the 2nd half of this year and the others have basically had no real positive impact outside of maybe Dyson Daniels.

Brown and Tatum are in tonight. Jrue and Porzingas are still questionable. Maybe Boston isn't punting against the Knicks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I figured Boston wasn't going to sit everyone just because I don't think they'd want to 10-11 full days without playing any actual game minutes. The still open question is whether they treat this like a glorified exhibition. If its a 59-54 game at the half (regardless of who has what) does Boston go real easy with the minutes for Tatum, Brown, White and Horford in the 2nd half?

You guys are straight up delusional thinking the Bucks would be favored in any series without Giannis. Maybe but still probably not Hawks/Bulls but we aren't getting that anyway.

Trying to keep the Bucks in the opposite bracket.

Bogdanovic becoming a positive for NYK will be problematic for whoever draws them.

I would assume this is why the Celtics are playing everyone and they would be wise to do it.

As down as I am on the Bucks, if I am Boston I am avoiding a potential match-up with the Bucks in round 2 if I can.

It's funny how the Bucks vs Celtics match-up has flipped.

The last 2 seasons prior to this one, the Celtics were hoping to face the Bucks. Celtics knew last season that their road to the Finals became a lot tougher when the Heat knocked the Bucks out in round 1.

This season, Boston is playing all of their starters in game 79 after having clinched the #1 seed a month ago because they want to avoid the Bucks.

I'm not absolutely sure it's the motive. Moreso imagine they want to keep their rhythm ahead of awaiting the results of the play-in.

Whatever the case, NYK is blowing em out.

Bleh these are pretty much pre season games for the celts at this stage. Just a way to keep the body warm before playoffs start. They’d be more worried about getting injured than winning.

I warned everyone about the Knicks. I said they were the team I worried about the most.

I admit that was assuming Randle came back, but despite not much agreement with me on this, Thibs is near the top of the league in coaching. He is special. Top three for sure. Does more with less every year.

They are vulnerable, but I don't want to play them unless it's in the Eastern finals.

So I do want to avoid them if possible and I certainly don't want to play them with them having home court advantage.

Bucks backcourt took a lot of crap for their defense on Brunson on sunday, but he just cooked the Celtics even moreso tonight.
