Pacers are bad? They won 2 less games than us. They also beat us 4 out of 5 games this year and I believe that we had Giannis and Dame for all 5.

Almost. Dame was out for one of them, a 2 point loss.

Didn't we play all the Pacers games with Griff? Very happy with this matchup and the way the brackets look in general.

If we take anybody lightly, we'll lose. Same is true for the other 19 teams who are still alive.

I'll delete this post later and deny it, but I was watching Alex Caruso and thought the same thing.

Caruso is very inconsistent too. I watch games...sometimes multiple games in a row where he gives no effort on defense. He is awful and provides nothing in those games.

But today, yes...he was fun to watch. If he gave that effort every game, Caruso would be close to Jrue level of status.

I'm not on the Bucks socials, but is Giannis getting around, shooting. running anything like that?

Or are we being secret squirrel?

During the broadcast they showed a pic of Giannis with Legos and they said his rehab is going well. I don't think we'll hear anything other than "he's progressing" all week and I suspect he'll be listed as questionable on the initial injury report on Saturday.

Swept?

I seriously doubt it.

Buddy Hield and Bruce Brown were rotation players for the Pacers last time we played them. Mathurin is out for the season. They’ve obviously added Siakam.

This will be a very different team.

If Giannis is at or near 100%, we should beat this Pacer team in a series, but they have proven that they pose challenges for us. As long as we have Brook in the drop, we will always have a glaring weakness against guards that can hit those midrange/floaters that a drop naturally concedes at a high clip. That makes guys like Hali and Brunson particularly scary as they can heat up in a hurry. They also have Turner, who can play out to the perimeter. Just a rough matchup for Brook.

That said, we have the best player in the series by a mile. If Dame can even partially remove his head from his ass, we should be fine, but that is a huge if right now. It would be nice to get the guy we thought we were acquiring for some consecutive games here. Also, start with Bev on Hali and keep Beas on the bench...

The dynamic between "trade me, I want to win a title" Dame with "I have my bags packed and can't wait for the offseason in Portland" Dame will be interesting.

When the playoffs are over, we'll have a long laugh at how silly this Bucks regular season was. Going though this, and then hoisting the trophy, will only add to the legacy of Giannis.

Bucks winning would have to be one of the most impressive chips relative to the regular season.

Bucks playing game 1 next Sunday instead of Saturday = one extra day off for Giannis and our banged up old people, I mean vets, to heal up.

It's actually common for the team that had the leagues most successful lineup and is the best against the top 10 to win the title.

If the playoffs included everyone, not just the top teams, then the Bucks would be in trouble.

Any idea on Khris?

Khris played all 5 (he came off the bench in the first one) and played well.
